Gorgeous space, especially in the morning with the light filtering gently into the atrium. Unfortunately, that's the most positive aspect. $39 for an Eggs Benedict is outrageous, especially since their rendition is just fine but not outstanding. Service was brusque and inattentive - we had to flag down staff to take our order and just to get water. No wonder they tack on a mandatory service charge even for a party of 2.

Went there for afternoon tea with my daughter. The crab small sandwich was amazing. The egg salad had more bread than egg so was disappointed in that. The teas and desserts amazing. I felt the price tag of $195 for what we got was very over priced.

I had complementary breakfast due to the room rate I booked. The breakfast buffet was just okay. There's a lot to choose from, but I definitely wouldn't eat there if it wasn't free. It was really busy, but the staff were all wonderful and did a wonderful job accommodating everyone. Make sure to make reservations for the weekend. However, the location is excellent. I'd recommend it just for that. The hotel in itself is beautiful, but The Garden Court is on another...
