Genki Crepes & Mini Mart

I came in on a Sunday evening and ordered a crepe with lemon juice and sugar on it. Took 25 minutes to get my crepe. I was rather disappointed with the crepe. It was very dry and crisp while lacking in flavor. Almost like eating cardboard. To combat the crepe's shortcomings, I would recommend getting a bunch of toppings, including some moist ones.

Love the dessert crepes! There is always a bit of a wait but it’s well worth it.

A great small shop that has a lot of stuff that are hard to find for very cheap prices. They also had very good fresh smoothies for a cheap price. The employees were also very kind. Would reccomend this place if you are hungry but don’t want to commit to an entire meal and just want snacks/a treat.

Really cute Japanese snack store, but most importantly the crepes r ABSOLUTELY freakin fantastic. The strawberry cream crepe downright RAVISHED me. I left the store in ecstasy and tearing up from absolute joy. Every bite felt bittersweet because I knew I would not be able to indulge in this delicacy again for a long time.

Genki is a staple in the Richmond! I usually come here for the crepes, but the mini-mart has a great collection of items for purchase, including a lot of Hello Kitty candies.

I usually get sweet crepes, but I've recently been trying their savory ones and have really enjoyed them. I got the bananas, Nutella, and strawberry ice cream crepe, and it was delicious. There's some seating inside, but there are also benches outside. It's definitely a great spot to grab a quick meal or dessert.

Street parking is most likely your only option. There is some residential parking, but only if you're lucky.

I’ve been coming to Genki for the past 13 years. Anybody that’s visited me also knows of Genki. They have the best Japanese style crepes in the Bay Area hands down.
There’s not much space to sit when it’s packed but their crepes have no comparison ??✨

Parking: May be difficult to find a parking spot if you go during peak hours. Paid street parking but free after a certain hour. 7pm I think. Double check that tho

The two people working here looked like they're rather put one through the dome rather than deal with customers.

The lady said 3 words to me "yes?". When I gave my order the reply "that it?". Then just flipped the card reader around to face me and pointed to it.

All with a facial expression of someone that screamed zero effs. So much so it was hard for me not to just tell her I changed my mind.

The lackluster complete apathy for customer service is almost impressive in a macabre sort of way.

The food itself was ok but then again your paying almost 10 bucks so I'd expect it to be at least halfway decent. Not the best crepe I've had, a little flat and thin, a touch overcooked but all in all slightly above average.

The place itself looks like a dingy corner store. A few cute signs are faded and grease stained dangling in the wind like a haunted reminder of the joy that's long since abandoned this establishment.

Randomly found this shop, the crepes are really yummy, they are still warm and they are crispy. I was here for visiting, and got crepes from this shop everyday. Now I left the city, I have been missing this crepe shop everyday. Definitely will comeback.

Decent price. Note these are crisp, not necessarily a bad thing, but different from a standard crepe
