Mai's Vietnamese Restaurant Reviews
Mai’s is such a gem. Their lemongrass beef pho is my absolute favorite. I can’t eat any other pho after having this! The owners are so sweet, it truly feels like a neighborhood family joint. We love having a little date there when we can.
Had a quick bite here , tasty freshly made spring rolls , barbecue pork is super tasty , imperial rolls are a must try.
We had a very nice meal (Lemongrass BBQ beef) here and will be back.

Mai's Vietnamese Restaurant is a cozy and welcoming spot in San Francisco that serves up authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. The staff is friendly and accommodating, often remembering regular customers. The menu features a variety of pho options, including the popular lemongrass beef pho and the combo pho, both of which receive high praise from diners. The restaurant offers unpretentious Vietnamese dishes like barbecued pork over cold noodles on warm days, and many come here for the pho. The servers are helpful, and servings are generous. The menu also includes specialties such as cơm sườn (BBQ porkchop rice), which is truly authentic with two nicely charred porkchops, and bánh tằm (cold rice noodles with coconut sauce), which is surprisingly similar to what can be found in Vietnam. The fish sauce used is light and tangy, reflecting Southern flavors. Mai's is also the only place offering bi (shredded pork skin) and soda sữa hột gà (egg soda), providing a taste of traditional Southern Vietnamese treats. While the restaurant excels at many dishes, some may not enjoy their hủ tíu (pork and seafood noodle soup). Overall, Mai's Vietnamese Restaurant is a reliable and enjoyable dining experience, with consistently excellent food true to Vietnamese flavors.
