This is my favorite place to go for pho in SF. The food is authentic and so good - my wife says it's as good as anything she had when she was in Vietnam. I always get the lemongrass beef pho and my wife gets the combo pho, but we've tried a lot on the menu and it's all been great. The staff is very friendly and remembers us each time we come in. We have been here many many times. We personally do not like oily pho soup. Mais' broth soots our tastes. Clean, less greasy than some other vietnamese pho restrauants. We always enjoy the food, the family oriented service and slow place. Just be patient. If you are in a hurry, come here when you have more time.

This is the perfect spot for when you're craving a soothing bowl of pho. The staff were welcoming and kind, and the restaurant is cozy. I went at an off time so the service was pretty quick. Their hours are pretty particular with a few hours around lunch and another few hours in the evening, so make sure to pay attention to that when looking to come here.I got the pho ga which had a hearty chicken broth and a good amount of chicken breast. It really hit the spot.
