It’s an amazing spot, but I guess I came for the wrong day for the soup of the day. I received a nice bowl of soup with chips. It was chile verde style, but instead of pork they used grilled stripes of chicken, likely breast strips, with a tough exterior. The soup resembles more a Tuscan tomato and basil bisque with a chile verde spin rather than the actual dish. Maybe im describing tortilla soup, in the absence of tortillas. While other places serve up the hits like pozole, menudo, mondongo, albondigas, caldo de res, this place seeks to innovate. This was a great pit stop before heading to the Chase Center for a concert. The chips and salsas were tasty, but the standout was the Cubano and margarita. The hot off the griddle Cubano was so good and the sweet, smoky and spicy margarita was very tasty. I would recommend this place.

Nice environment. The cubano was amazing. The lomito asado was well cooked but the flavor was too sweet. They don’t have beer or wine, they said there was a sign outside but we didn’t saw it.
Killer lunch time sandwich deals. $13 for a Chimichurri Steak Sandwich with a large side salad. All was impressively good and well priced. Nice inviting location and staff. Good beer selection on draft
