Love Gioia Pizza, but the key is to get it by the slice. They heat it up for you and it comes out perfectly crunchy, which is what makes it so good. I’ve tried ordering a whole pizza before and it just didn’t have that same crunch, so I wouldn’t recommend going that route. By the slice though, it’s easily my favorite pizza in the city.
Love the pizza, but can we talk about the salad?! The avocado & arugula salad is AMAZING and I can't get enough of it. One day I'll try other things on the menu (the sandwiches look so good!) but for now I'm happy ordering this again and again.
Amazing Pizza! Highly recommend if you are trying to explore the city, and MUST HAVE if you live nearby!
Great variety of selection. Express speed service. Nice, low key atmosphere outside. Expect to go from in line to pizza in hand within 10min.
Don’t forget to add fresh parmesan to your slice, it makes a huge difference ??.
