The chef clearly knows what they're doing – fantastic meal.

Took our girls for the 1st time to see the Fortune Cookies being made. They loved it! Fresh, warm cookie as you walk out was delicious 😋 It's down an alley, so you have to kind of search.

Warning: Pay CASH. I paid with a credit card, they use Square on an iPhone as a pin machine. Once I signed on the screen and gave back the device, she quickly added 4,00 as a tip. She probably think I did not see it. So it added up to 23USD for 8 pre-made fortune cookies. (Not the custom ones). Very disappointed.

It was super awkward inside as there were tons of people standing around not really sure what to do. There’s no cash register to check out at so no one knew where to go. Once we finally just picked up a bag of cookies did someone approach us to help us pay for it. Good cookies though and they do give out free samples!

To be honest, I was expecting more , $25 for two minutes of making cookies was a no for me , i got a bag of fortune cookies after a few minutes line . Chinatown is big and easy to spend all day though

The birth place of fortune cookies. This place is small and a perfect place to see how fortune cookies are made. They make fresh cookies and serve you. You can buy several varieties of fortune cookies from this place. Also the highlight is that u can customize fortune cookies for your friends and family. This place is pretty famous and is always crowded.

A San Francisco staple that cannot be missed. The cookies come out warm and delicious. You are greeted at the entrance with a warm cookie and while you decide which flavors and sizes to get, you can see the cookies being made and taking their iconic shape.
They give you a nice bag with your cookies and a lot of extra warm cookies as well.
Loved it!

This was a fun stop in Chinatown. It was cool to see hand rolled fortune cookies. One of the only fortune cookie factories in America. They ask for a donation to take a picture. We got a free sample.

I come here every year to buy the small coin size fortune cookies to take back and give as gifts. I bought 18 bags and get 6 free. The cost has gone up but they are so delicious.

Parking: It's difficult finding parking but I now drive into Ross Alley and stop in front, grab my cookies and drive off.

This is not a restaurant. It is a factory for fortune cookies. You can walk in and see how they are baked, filled, folded, packed.
