Rude. Exceptionally rude. I go to the restaurant with the intent to make a takeout order. Right through the door, I was not greeted. I know what these neighborhood restaurants are, and never expect warm greetings. At the very least, ask 'Hello. How may I help you' when I step through the door. That is be all hospitality I expect. Instead, the waitress looks at me like I don't belong, and scowls at me. Ok, whatever. I ask for the the menu. And while picking out a few dishe, the waitress, continues with the rude looks from a few feet away. Like, what did I do to you? So, I picked out a few dishes, asked for thr order to be taken. She stands in place. Just stands there. Still mean mugging me, like she doesn't want to my bisiness or take my order. This is no way to treat people. That is no way to run a business. I will not be going back.

DO NOT EVER EAT HERE! They have WORMS in their food! So GROSS! And they had the audacity to argue back and say they were only going to refund the noodle plate. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!

I take my 76 year old mother and 51 years old mentally disabled sister here. They enjoy the claypot rice here very much. A true hidden gem. If you are Toishan and looking for a good place to get delicious food, look no further. We ordered spareribs clay pot rice chicken and Chinese sausage clay pot rice and they served complimentary lotus root and peanut soup.My mom taught me her Claypot etiquette: as soon as the pot arrives, mix the rice and remember to scoop and mix everything from the bottom of the pot including mixing the crunchy rice with rest and last, serve into a bowl

Came for the clay pot rice. Please know that the "special bacon" is just fatty pieces that flavor the rice, no meat. It also had Chinese sausage but no vegetables. The other plates were pea shoots, beef chow fun, honey walnut shrimps, and salt and pepper tofu that were amazingly delicious. Will definitely come back.

Just had lunch here while waiting for my car to be done with Toyota across the street. Had the Mongolian beef which wasn't that bad at all. Good potion for $10.50. Ordered 5 other dishes to go for the wife and kids. All came out to just under $80 with tax. Waitress was pretty nice as well. Would definitely come back again.

I was looking for a place to eat before an appointment at Kaiser on 6 Avenue, I walked several blocks on the Kaiser side and came back the opposite side because I didn’t like the restaurants on that side, on my way back to Kaiser I crossed the street to see if there was anything appealing and happened to see this Chinese restaurant with peoplecoming in and out. I decided to give it a try, I satmyself and went and got a menu to see the items, it took a few minutes for service to arrive, I finally got a pot of hot tea and I ordered The Shrimp with Scrambled Eggs over Rice. I was patiently waiting because I happened to look at a table in the middle of the back area completely full with meals to go, (lunch time in the area) the food smelled was pleasant. I got up to get water at a self served area. When I finally got my order I was happy with the rice, it was the right structure, perfectly cooked with a nice aroma and taste, the eggs with scrambled eggs perfectly complimented each other. I was happy with the meal and understanding of the waiting time because the underwhelming amount of orders to go, the staff was pleasant and efficient making sure everyone got the right order.

Located on Geary Blvd near 4th Avenue in the Richmond District San Francisco. The owner is very nice. Unfortunately the wait staff could use some customer service training. What we ordered:1.) Winter Melon Soup not bad could use a bit more seasoning.2.) Ginger Chicken. The waitress messed this up by putting a Gravy over the chicken which is not what we wanted. Tasted ok chicken was right…3.) Beef Chow Fun this was very good beef was tender.4.) Fried pork spareribs this was not bad.5.) Seafood Tofu Clay Pot again this was not prepared the way it was ordered. So did not great tasting.6.) Pea spouts in ginger garlic. The taste was good but the sprouts were chewy.

I was very disappointed at the food and presentation. Ten years ago the food and ambiance was much better. The place was much cleaner then. The place today was dirty and the table needs a good cleaning to it. We had the tomato beef chow mein and singapore stir fry noodles. The food was mediocre at best. Ten years ago this place was much better than today. Maybe new owners in recent years? Took this place off my list to go for a good meal.

best clay pot! must try if you want some good chinese clay pot rice. I usually get the braised tofu with fish clay pot and any of the clay pots in a size large is the perfect combo. Staff is super friendly and they usually include some soup. There is always room to bring a big party or just a couple friends.

When I paid the bill, I packed the rice in a bag myself. I opened it and found that there was a wire for washing dishes in it. I called her and told her. She just said sorry to me, and then it was gone. I asked for one more. Give me the exact same meal, and let me wait 30 minutes before picking it up! I still had a bad attitude towards me in the past, she was very angry and told me that she was busy, but I think it's none of my business if you are busy, use your temper to treat guests! I know the proprietress here is very nice! But I really ate that many times! Really angry!

While at a friend's house, it was dinner time and we were pondering where to go for dinner. Since we were all comfortable and relaxed, our friend suggested that we take out from their favorite Chinese restaurant house nearby and enjoy at home. They had a take-out menu and suggested we picked some dishes out. They said there's a Chef's Special listing at 3 items for $34.99 and you can select from 56 different dishes. So we picked out six dishes from the Chef's Special and added another dish. We called in and the order would be ready in 20 minutes. My friend and I drove there for the order. Parking is difficult in the area, so my friend dropped me off. The order was being finalized when I arrived. The restaurant had about a dozen tables and was about half full. I waited at an empty table by the cashier. There was TV in the dining room. The last dish came out and the worker was checking off the order and realized it was a duplicated item. She apologized and had the missing item prepared. In about five minutes the dish came out. For the inconvenience, she gave the duplicated dish to me and said for me to enjoy. That was nice. Our dishes: Salt and Pepper Pork Chop Seafood Combination Clay Pot Salted Fish Chicken Tofu Clay Pot Chicken with String Beans - this was the duplicated dish, where one was given as a comp. Ma Po Tofu Rock Cod Filet with Bitter Melon Chicken Chow Mein The food is homestyle style Cantonese cuisine and the dishes were well made and tasty. My favorites were the chicken with string beans and the clay pot dishes. The worker was friendly and was apologetic about the order mix-up. No nonsense good homestyle Cantonese food here.
