My favorite rice noodle spot in the Bay Area! The noodles are authentic Guilin style—rich in flavor, perfectly textured, and absolutely delicious. I haven’t found another place that comes close to matching this one.

If you’re looking for authentic Guilin rice noodles in San Francisco, this place is a gem! The broth is rich and flavourful, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings are fresh and generous. Portion sizes are very fair for the price (great value around $10–20).
The staff are friendly and quick, and even when it’s busy, service feels smooth and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and casual, making it a comfortable spot for either a quick bite or a full meal.
Definitely a place I’d come back to whenever I’m in the city.

10/10. While I personally wish the menu was bigger, they nailed it with just a few things. The rice noodles obviously, and with the golden crispy pork its amazing. Super nice folks too, nice atmosphere, easy to get to.

The rice noodle soup was too bland. I added a lot of salt and it was still bland. It tasted like water. I will never go back to this place again. I might as well cook the rice noodles at home. At least I remember to add salt. The waiter thought I should give at least 15% tip and chased me out to ask for a tip, but for such food, I didn't even want to give a penny.

We order as a takeout. I would say the staff is pretty nice and the environment was pretty normal. Nothing special. It is pretty clean.
They have plenty of noodles on the menu and you can choose to make it soup or dry .
The only complaint that we have is, I wish they can have a little bit more meat due to the price . The flavors were OK. And noodle was pretty bouncy.

We visited this restaurant at 5pm on a Friday. Metered parking was easy on a side street a block away and the restaurant had lots of empty tables. Service was fast and friendly. The menu is small for a Chinese-style restaurant. Most of the dishes involve their famous Guilin rice noodles, either dry with a herb sauce or in light soup. Toppings are marinated beef, crispy pork, or fatty pork belly. The different combinations have different flavors and textures, but all taste great. The noodles have a pleasant light and chewy texture. I got the herb sauce noodles which have a nice flavor, but not spicy hot. There are a couple of different fresh pepper sauces on the table if you want more heat. Prices are reasonable (about $16) for a bowl that was large enough for my dinner with enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

The Guilin noodles here are amazing—so full of flavor and perfectly balanced. The broth is rich and savory with just the right amount of spice, and the toppings (pickled veggies, peanuts, tender beef or pork) add great texture and depth. The rice noodles were silky and perfectly cooked. It’s comforting, satisfying, and totally crave-worthy. If you love authentic regional Chinese food, this is a must-try!
We came at around 8pm ish, it wasnt busy at all.
Very tasty rice noodle! Huge huge portion, my partner finished his noodle but i really couldn't, i wish they have option for smaller portion.
Super fridndly staffs too.
Overall we enjoyed our meals!
yum 😋
Perfection. So authentic, so good, so clean tasting. I loved the quality of the broth. Portions are huge and toppings were generous in my soup based noodles. Environment is great. And service very friendly. Will be back!

The parking around the area is limited. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and the waitlist was incredibly long. We ended up ordering takeout, but still had to wait 20-30 minutes. We ordered the Cucumber Salad with Minced Garlic, House Special GRN, Hot and Sour Noodle Soup, and Marinated Combination Plate.
Unfortunately, the cucumber salad was bland, and the sauce was not good either. Similarly, the combination plate was quite dry. On a positive note, the Hot and Sour Noodle Soup had a generous portion, and the flavor was authentically hot and sour. I didn't try other items from the menu, but based on what I ordered, I would say the food was decent, though not outstanding.
service is super slow, we waited 30min to sit in and another 20 min for the food. We thought it was a quick meal place ( like other noodle place) and didn’t expect the service to be this slow. While we waited for the table, guests at the table were waiting for the bill. There is only 1 waitress serving all tables. She is very efficient but there are just too many tables for 1 waitress. And it looked like they had a lot of take-out orders so it took unreasonable time to get the a bowl of rice noodle that should be ready within minutes. After all the wait the food is just OK to good level.
This is our go-to for guilin style rice noodles. We get takeout here at least once a month. The dry version travels better and comes with a small side of soup. Everything is very flavorful and the noodle texture is just right it's a bit chewy and bouncy.
It is a bit expensive for a simple dish but that's the price you pay for living in the bay area.
Delicious noodles, efficient service, warm ambiance. Appreciate having two options for hot sauce. The braised pork belly was tasty and tender. The golden crispy pork was AMAZING.
