Dog patch is a delicious Dutch crunch sandwich

I don’t understand why all the cashiers here are so rude. They didn’t even say hi or thank you—they just look elsewhere. I’m not sure if it’s just me or if this happens to everyone.

The quality of stuff is high end. I also enjoyed eating this delicious sandwich too. You can enjoy this local grocery store with kind staff.

They have a lot of really good stuff in a ‘small’ place. Always enjoy their warm food buffet bar.

Love the organic food options here to choose from. Price is a bit higher than what it should be.

They NEED to stop letting dogs in here. Good grief.

My go-to local grocery store. Vegetables and fruits are always super fresh.

Gus's Market on 4th Street is a gem in San Francisco! Their deli sandwiches are absolutely excellent—fresh ingredients, generous portions.

The staff is incredibly friendly and always manages to handle the long lines during busy lunch and dinner hours with impressive efficiency. You can tell they work hard to keep things moving, but it’s clear that adding more staff during peak times would help both the employees and the customers.

The overall vibe is welcoming, and it’s a great spot for grabbing a quick bite. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

I got the BLT, but asked for no tomato. It had tomato. The sandwich was good nonetheless

I’m not one for writing bad reviews but this is the grimmest grocery store I’ve ever shopped at. It’s like the employees are getting paid to frown. Everything is more expensive than at Whole Foods, even their “sale” items. I’m all for gourmet overpriced stuff (Big fan of Bi-rite market here) but premium prices for not so premium stuff is laughable (e.g. pale looking rotisserie chicken that’s not even organic, for $7 more than Whole Foods). Do better, or at the very least, teach your employees how not to look so miserable.

What a spectacular store! Beautiful fruits, pies, cheeses, delicious, hot foods grocery items & a wonderful assortment of meats & fish. Prices are reasonable. Shop here!

Love the deli here. They have the best & most fairly priced sandwiches & poke in the city! Portions are double than what you’d get in FiDi for 70% of the price. 15$ for a three scoop poke thats so large that it can be split by two people. (Only when order fresh tho not the prepackaged ones)
We’ve also tried every sandwich and the Gus special always hits the spot.

This place needs some serious health inspection or need to look at their products carefully where they come from and how! I’ve seen tortillas has expirations date of last year, and I literally bought cheese yesterday (10/10/24) from this place so I could use it on my pasta today (10/11/24) we ended up finding mold already inside growing! The expiration date says next year Jan 2025, I just opened it and how can it go bad already ?!!
