HMart stores has been around the United States for a while and other bay area cities so when they finally opened up a store in SF, I think people were excited. Prior to them being at this alemany st location, there was a mess of a depressing Chinese supermarket that didn't want to spend money on renovations after they took over from Lucky's Supermarket that used to be there. HMart did the full renovations so the store looks great, plus they have Korean food stalls to the side...read full review
A good, clean organized Korean supermarket, with a lot of choices of authentic products and cooked food, the only things I didn't like were very busy parking and the prices that were higher than usual on some things.

Vegetables and fruits were fresh and great. Also there are some nicely packed healthy products(ginseng gift box) that I can give it to someone as a gift.It's like a Korean market. The fruits and vegetables were fresh. And there are many things you can buy as gifts, such as vegetable juice and red ginseng extract.
