Visited the vault for the first time yesterday w my bride. We were helped by both our Server, Chris, & a phenomenal manager, AJ. The food, ambiance & entire experience on Valentine's Day were top notch. The mushroom risotto w an addition of a lobster tail recommendation by Chris was out of this world amazing. My now favorite dish ever. I will have that again on my next visit. Great job Vault! 💰🏆🎖️

The Wagyu and Caviar were wonderful, but the lobster was a slight let down with it being a little cold. Service was excellent and attentive to every need. The overall atmosphere had a perfect balance of lighting and music.

It was a nice place to sit and eat, I got the piano room which was great to hear the piano play while eating my food. The servers were extremely helpful, attentive and nice and the atmosphere was also pleasant. I was honestly very disappointed in the food, it wasnt something I would definitely go back for. I'm not a chef so I can't say what was wrong with the dishes but from what I had it seemed like some of the food wasnt prepared correctly? I had a lobster Mac and cheese and it seemed like it needed more salt and the lobster was watery. The risotto was good but not amazing, again not a chef so I cant say what was wrong with it but overall the food was underwhelming and not was I was hoping for especially for the price I paid for. However the over all place, it was nice and the Staff was fantastic! My only complaint was the food for the price I paid for.

Nathan the waiter was really great! My steak was very fatty, tough and disappointing. I came in excited and really looking forward to a high quality steak. The sides were not interesting or innovative. They were barely passable. Just ok. Drinks were great and the desserts were mostly good. I really expected more when spending 1k!

Love the Vault. Been there many times and never disappointing! Alway love to bring my corporate visitors for a great steak and drinks and they leave with a great experience. Thanks to the staff for always been super nice and friendly. See you next time !

That was possibly the best meal, combined with dining experience, that we have ever had. It is reminiscent of the old time steak houses. If you get up from the table, your napkin is folded for your return. They come by and tidy up the table crumbs. My husband and I both had excellent steaks, and as a fun bonus, they bring you a set of all different steak knives to choose and use. The wait staff, seating staff, table-side salad staff were all so nice and helpful when we were making our dining choices. We would recommend The Vault over and over.

I got sick after dinner, we ordered both the tuna crudo and shrimp cocktail that I'm assuming was the culprit. Did anyone else report this that night? It's a terrible feeling because it was $450 dinner for two people and the experience was ruined with what transpired afterwards.

Great food and service. Very expensive but not much more than other restaurants of the same caliber.

We went for NYE celebration. Even though some portions were small like the lobster Thermidor, the taste was vey good. The steak was cooked well and the martinis were excellent every time! Service was very attentive.

Wonderful restaurant wonderful staff had a lovely relaxing evening. Didn't walk out of their feeling too full!

Our first time at this restaurant. The expectations aren't met. The fine dining steakhouse is first - the servers aren't friendly, and the knives for the steak are the worst. We used three of them, but they're all weak. The food presentations aren't appetizing. I should have checked the ratings first before considering here. No wonder the rating is 7.5 only. Also, I made a special note to prepare a dessert plate with Happy Holidays greetings because I wanted to make it special for my kids, but there was nothing prepared.

After a brutal day of business meetings, The Vault Steakhouse was the perfect reward. Parking was effortless with the garage directly underneath – no circling, no stress. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and perfectly timed from start to finish. The Tomahawk arrived with a flawless crust and juicy medium-rare center, pure steak perfection. If you want great steak and zero hassle after a long day, this is the place.

The Vault Steakhouse is one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco, hands down. Staff is attentive, service is top-notch and the food is absolutely delicious!

WE ARE 14 STRONG AND FOUND THE VAULT TO BE A VERY COMPELLING EXPERIENCE. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.
