This is a nice restaurant near downtown San Francisco if you are looking for a halal Central Asian cousine. The food is good and they offer variety of meat dishes. Prices are comparable to everything else in this city. Portions are not that great. One dish may suffice for one adult person only.
First time at Dastarkhan and already can’t wait to come back! Dropped in for lunch, ordered the manti, samsa and lula mix kebabs. Had a combo of beef and pumpkin manti (would recommend doing a split order of both!)Everything was delicious, and the highlight was definitely the lamb/beef kebabs — well seasoned, juicy. Kebab perfection.Service was welcoming, and the atmosphere relaxing.

Used to be a great place. One of the places where I used to feel always welcome.Unfortunately lately the service and cleanliness of the place got sloppy. Wait time has increased and the staff was a bit rude. Also the place is not very clean.
