This place feels like you went back to the late 80s. There’s even an actual old school tv in there. It’s a very retro theme, and will literally make you feel like you stepped back in time. We wanted a smashburger and martini so decided to check this spot out. $8 for a smashburger was of course decent. Was it a smashburger I would crave moving forward, no. Don’t know how anyone would rate this below 5 stars. The smash burger (with cheese) is top notch and damn near brought a tear to my eye. Backed by some killer duck fat fries, and washed down with a rum-kissed Oreo milkshake that seeks its equal, this country-blasting establishment is everything the heart (and tumtum) desires.

Hamburguesa Bar is a very fun vibe that transports you right out of SF. It is a pretty unique neighborhood burger spot with a retro-country vibe and wood accents, comfortable bar seating, and a lively crowd. They have the best burgers in the city, including a really solid smash burger and one of the best trufle burgers ever tried. The Hatch Chile Double Smashburger was loaded with cheese, well priced at around $22, and had great flavor. The duck fat fries are the first thing you should order — crispy outside, soft inside, and perfectly seasoned. The rough chopped Caesar surprised in the best way. Service is fast, friendly, and very willing to explain. Open late with a full bar, they also have boozy milkshakes and a cocoa puff shake. The decor is incredible, with old school box televisions. A 100% recommended visit and a new neighborhood go to bar.
