Food was ok but service was terrible. Especially the waitress with glasses. She looks like you owe her money and very rude. The final bill also doesn’t show you itemized receipt. Probably won’t come back again.

Do not be put off by the reviews that say language is a barrier. The staff work extra hard to help non-chinese speakers order and have a great experience. The food is awesome and some of the best dumplings i have had outside of China. Take the risk, it is so worth it.

I’m rating this hands-down the best Shan Dong noodle that I had in the city.
The noodle was super bouncy very very flavorful. I recommend definitely getting the cold noodle because it was ICONIC.

The dumplings were handmade by the owner, and it was so juicy inside. It literally burst out juices inside my mouth, and I can even take a picture with the juices inside the dumpling.
The pancake was also very juicy. Also, very, very crispy.

The owner made all the dumplings herself and she was very knowledgeable. She is also very nice and friendly to us.

If you come later around their closing time, you will see her cat walking down as well, and that was the cutest little creature.

The environment is very clean, not overly crowded and it feels very like home.

Not to mention the price after four dishes was just $58 at 2026. That’s crazy.

I definitely will come back again for more food!!!

The hand pulled noodles are amazing. I ordered the cucumber salad with peanuts on a whim and it was also insanely good. This spot is on my favorites list when I’m in the area. Prices are also super reasonable which is always a bonus.

Some real highlights on this menu. Of course the cold skin noodles are absolutely delicious, mildly spicy with that signature Sichuan peppercorn numbing yet still bright, refreshing and fragrant. We also got the cucumber peanut salad which was incredible, fresh, crunchy and perfectly soy sauced. The pork shrimp and leek dumplings were also pretty good, the texture of the dumpling wrapper was great, but I found the filling slightly under-seasoned, verging on bland. This however was pretty easily remedied with the addition of the sauces readily at hand. The beef, cucumber and scallion pancake was also unfortunately a little disappointing. The beef was also pretty bland but the pancake itself was crisp yet bouncy and had great flavour. Perhaps the plain one would suffice. Service was efficient and staff were helpful. Overall a great experience, I will be back to try more items!

not recommend. they pushed to order more dishes but mainly introduced expensive ones. At checkout, they only gave the total amount without any clear breakdown. You had no idea how the final bill was calculated. Very disappointing.

The explosive chicken is insane but beef rolls and dumplings were just okay

E1 (cold skin noodles) is authentic and unique in a sea of nearby Chinese restaurants. However, it's mostly just noodle and doesn't really have meat. You'll want to add on some dumplings or veggies to make this a complete meal.

Their hand pulled cold noodles with chili oil (E1 on the menu) is a must have and I would definitely come back just to enjoy the soft smooth squishy bounce!

Everything else was a good 4/5: spicy ox tripe, beef roll scallion pancake, hot & sour soup, boiled fish slices, and fried lamb cumin. Some items tasted peculiar.

This is a nice local neighborhood hole in the wall with just a few tables inside. Seems more popular lately since we had to wait about half hour for a part of 3 for a Saturday dinner.

Servers are hardworking, quick, and direct. They speak Mandarin, with limited Canto/English. Recommend jotting down on a phone note what you want from the menu and showing them the list.

Excellent value as our subtotal was $94 for 3 athletic hungry guys (before tip).
