Had a really great dinner here. Tried three different types of dumplings: two different types of pork dumplings and shrimp dumplings. The cold noodles were awesome. The noodles were made super fresh and the sauce was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Fancy traveling through China like the renown Food Ranger and stopping by street carts to pick up baos / baozi / 包子 and giant filled pancakes 馅饼? This is one stop that hits the spot! I was there for the liangpi 凉皮, and I left with tons of stuffed pancakes for breakfast and lunch - all ready to go for quick pick-up! They even have frozen dumplings, which I will have to try. The liang pi looks simple, but it was so good! I only used half of the spicy, peanut-y sauce because I wanted to save it for much more noodles later heh. And it was a noticeable reaction of oh wow, this was good! The texture of the noodles were good, the taste was good, and it was a good portion for the price. Highly recommended. 好吃, 好吃! It knocked me right into code-switching! The meat pies or vegetarian pies / pancakes / Xi'an bing 馅饼 were gigantic and fully filled! Meat one? Fully filled with meat! Vegetarian one with egg and chives 韭菜 - yep, fully filled! One is enough for breakfast or lunch! Now, if that is enough, that is only way less than $ for one meal! It was indeed filling. Just like street food from a stall or local shop! The owner / manager / worker there was also super nice. It was good practicing Mandarin! The interior dumpling station did look like an Asian style stand or building found in China, and the whole restaurant felt like it was styled after the districts filled with food shops and stands.

Food was too good so no pics of food left The friendly aunties are mandarin-speaking fyi! They accept credit cards but they prefer cash if possible. Dishes my group of 9 got: Mutton dumplings (if you like mutton, this was good according to the peeps who like lamb) Spicy meat dumplings garlic spinach sauteed green beans fried tofu (so cripsy! A bit of mala style so slightly numbing) aunties recommended this cold noodle dish (is good but has peanuts!) xianjiang plate chicken (this has quite a spice kick to it, the noodles underneath were really good but not a lot in it) watermelon juice (fresh!) beef chow fun (this was my fave probs) beef roll cake leek/pork/shrimp dumplings Hot and sour soup was okay haha PSA this is a pretty small shop tho! My group of 9 got lucky to get seated right away by the door

This place is SMALL, maybe only like 4 tables if I remember correctly. This place is authentic, when I say authentic, I mean both the food and the service. Being Chinese myself I feel that many Chinese places focus more on the food quality than the service, so don't be alarmed if the service isn't how you expect. We shared multiple dishes, such as the cold noodle liang-pi noodle and the pork & chive dumplings. The noodle was yummy but super oily, it was a big portion tho! Dumplings were super yummy and the sauce was homemade and paired really well with it. Wouldn't come out the way again but if I'm ever in the area, maybe.

Don't expect good service here, but they shouldn't expect good tips neither. The waitress with long pony tail looked like she was hella fed up working there, we had to ask her twice for our FIRST cups of water/ tea. Also sounded irritated when we checked on an order that took forever and served at the end even after our take out order was shoved up my face. Awkward. Place was packed and busy. Some buns looked good by the front door but they were ALL UNCOVERED and no signs to tell what they were nor had any prices. Dumplings were tasty, but pan fried noodle was extremely OILY. Meh.

The service here is FAST! We ordered green beans, cabbage and pork dumplings, and the black bean sauce with noodles. The green beans came out within 5min of ordering, and it was hot and delicious. My favorite was definitely the dumplings, while the noodles were thick and chewy. The only thing is that I felt a bit rushed to eat quickly while there. They also don't appreciate more than one credit card for payment

Wow this place is delicious!! AMAZING hand pulled noodles. We did take away and I have a few notes. They do NOT speak English so ordering over the phone (only way to do take out since they are a small shop with no online ordering) was difficult unless you speak Cantonese. Our favorites were the beef roll and any of the noodle dishes! The dumplings were good too! So flavorful.

I ordered to-go and set a pick up time for FOUR hours later. I call when it's time to pick up and apparently they never got my order even though I used their actual website. They handed the phone to a literal customer to try and mediate the situation. Beyond awkward. 0/10, go to House of Pancake. Better service and stellar food

Wonderful casual dining spot for authentic Chinese food! Love the fish dumplings and cold noodles.

confirmed the chef changed sometime in the last 2 months. Some dishes (cold noodles) were similarly tasty, but most others were very noticeably saltier. Personally, I'll let my happy memories of this restaurant stay alive before the chef changed and not be back again sadly :"(

So bad, don't like this restaurant ....Ordered a Togo food wait for over 45 minutes! I think no more next time

This place is small, but you really should go IN to eat - avoid ordering takeout if possible unless you speak fluent mandarin. I got lucky when I called that there was a customer (shoutout RAY!!!) who hopped on the phone to help translate our takeout order. I mean this place is authentic. The ticket that had our order on it was entirely written in Chinese except for my phone number (saw it at pickup). Better to go in and just point to what you want on the menu. But expect a little bit of a wait because it's a small space and super yummy. And know the staff may not be wildly social. Dishes we tried and rankings below: - green beans (4/5) - beef wrap (5/5 but don't get if you don't like cilantro) - fried dumplings (2/5 but a lot of our group liked) - black bean with pork noodle (4/5) - pork dumpling with Napa (3/5) - xian cold noodles (5/5) - wontons in red chili oil (2/5 felt a little undercooked) - chicken chow mein (5/5) Pretty much would recommend anything ranked as 4 or 5!! I'm sure we will be back.

Decent dumplings and food for a decent price. Things to order would be Dalu Noodle, Pork and cabbage dumplings, green onion pancake. Potstickers.

This place is one of the best Chinese spots in the city. Came back because I just had to have the Xi'an cold noodles again! It was just as good as I remember, the noodles were so fresh and had the perfect texture and the sauce was amazing. It's simple but a perfect dish. Definitely will come back again for it. Also got the beef wrap again and some shrimp, pork and leek dumplings! The dumplings were delicious and you could tell they were handmade.

I wanted to like this place since their food is decent. The 1star review is purely given based on their customer service. Their wait staff ( guys waiter and older bus-lady) are extremely inpatient and rude to the customers. Both dine in and togo experience has been pretty awful. If the restaurant owner reads this review, PLEASE educate your wait staff, they need training for proper customer service.
