Goodness. I stupidly took the chance amongst all these 1-star reviews, including the one where the poster showed a bug inside his drink. And ended up with a drink that had a long, thick strand of black hair inside. How disgusted I was to have discovered this after nearly finishing my drink.Atmospheres at this store is stark. I would advise not going here. More like sad lemon :(**Edit - As I cannot reply to you — I went to the store today, Feb. 12, 2024 at 12:34 PM and purchased the Mango Matcha Smoothie. I ordered 2, at total of $13.50, however the other seemed fine. Check number on my receipt is 412. Thank you for your response.

I came here to order egg puff at 4:10 pm and stuff said he closed the cooking station already. When I waked out of the shop, I noticed that the open sign was off as well. I think the owner of this location should be aware that your stuff closed your shop way too early like 1:20 hours.

I give them an overall positive score, with one glaring exception. I typically order the Oolong tea with brown sugar and boba. Most of the staff are personable and make a good boba tea. The exception is one young woman, who wears a nose ring, and lacks even a scintilla of customer service ability. When you enter she approaches the counter and just stares at you, doesn’t say anything. When she presents your drink she might mumble something but often says nothing. She’s a very weird little duck. She’s also really chintzy on the amount of boba she puts in the drinks.

Happy Lemon is conveniently located in the Embarcadero so that I can get it for mid day cravings during the work week. Yayy! They have cold and warm drinks, which is perfect for the changing seasons. If you are feeling especially indulgent, you can get fried chicken with your Boba and make it your lunch.

Ordered drinks for myself and colleagues and everyone loved them! Didn't try too much food, just got the tofu but that was BOMB. Will definitely be back

I Arrived there 11.05. Shop not ready. The workers don’t respond anything just ignored don’t say anything. I have to drive to another location.

Okay... I'll admit it! I'm a casual Happy Lemon enjoyer. Since it's such a large scale boba shop, many people aren't fans of the drinks. However, considering the thousands of locations in over 20 countries... It has never done me wrong! This location is very tiny. You simply order and take your drink to go. No space to mingle. Very close to the Ferry Building and the Embarcadero BART Station. Here's my drink recommendations: + Black Tea with Salted Cheese + Anything with Mango Boba! + Puff Cream Milk Tea + Mango Dragonfruit with Salted Cheese + Mango Matcha Smoothie

I'm happy that Happy Lemon is in SF FiDi. Small take out shop next to Embarcadero 1. I always like their tea with cream top here at this location. Nothing pretentious about them. Just great drinks. Also close by to number 1 bus stop in case you need to head back up the hill. You can get a tea from here, a falafel wrap from Oasis grill around the corner. Perfect lunch!

Best chocolate egg waffles! I eat a lot of these and this Honey Lemon had one of the best chocolate flavors. It really tastes like chocolate with eggy, chewy texture. So good! Popcorn chicken and passion fruit green tea was also delicious. Thanks for making my Friday!

If you’re getting the lemon drinks, don’t skimp on the sugar. Getting only 50% sugar made a very sour and bitter drink, definitely getting full sweetness next time.

Worst boba store. Many times they don’t have boba or it’s a 10+ min wait in the middle of the day.

Cheese mixed with tea? Sounds weird initially but then I tried the black tea with salted cheese as instructed by my brother.Ooh! It's a cheese microfoam and more like a cheesecake flavor where the foam mingles with the tea allowing for an evolving taste over time? Yes please! The lemon teas all include fresh and/or whole blended lemon to where I can definitely can taste the nice difference compared to cheaper lemon drinks. Nicely done!
