This was my job's 2nd year here for our Black Heritage Gala and both years have been awesome! s/o to the chef & servers!! We had server named Genner "Generosity" who was amazing!! He was the man! Thank you so much for being such a vibe. I had salmon/quinoa/spinach and I scraped the plate. lol. It was really good & fresh. For dessert it was a chocolate something and apple crisp cheesecake. Bomb! It was indeed a lovely day & event here!

Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff, often a surprisingly good value! Let me just say there are no perfect hotels. This is definitely an older building, which comes with pros--interesting and unique architecture, a vast lobby, great balconies with views (balconies are not common in SF hotels), and so much more. Took the train and ferry down from Santa Rosa to meet up with family to celebrate the holidays. I stay a lot at Hyatt hotels for work and used my points to book a room so we could have dinner and not worry about traveling home. We were upgraded to a balcony suite.
