Firstly, thanks to Joy for great service and hospitality during our recent stays! We've had several meals at The Eclipse Kitchen over the past few months while staying at the Hyatt Regency, Embarcadero. Always delicious food and a surprisingly good value for a city hotel. If we lived in the neighborhood, despite many great restaurants, we'd still eat here at least some of the time. Eclipse is located in the Hyatt Regency where we were staying. The Clam Chowder in a sourdough bowl was excellent! I asked if it would be canned and the server said it would be made fresh and it was. My husband ordered the Tofu Curry with rice and loved it. As for the service, the gentleman who brought out out food was very kind. Server was very monotone but maybe she was having a bad day. My wife and I had dinner at Eclipse on our last night. We wanted to stay close and nothing is more convenient than a restaurant at your own hotel. We were so happy we did!Food was absolutely delicious. Honestly, one of our favorite meals in SF. I had a steak with mushrooms , mashed potatoes, veggies, and a delicious sauce.
