Ordered 1lb of brisket, received .75lb brisket. If you’re going to offer a discount on Uber Eats, don’t reduce your portion as well. Shady business practices

We came for the food and it was good, but nothing more than that. In these cases I really feel sorry for places which do well, but there is an inflation of 5 stars, so 4 seems like a miss. It was simply too dry - was it a result of last batch sitting long or something else, but both tips and briskets were not as I expected them to be - a bit more succulent. Anyway - the place has a nice vibe and service was fast, so it is not a letdown.

Friendly barkeep. Affordable prices for local in house bbq. Pulled pork was great. Should have asked for a range of cuts for brisket but flavor good otherwise. Will be back for their pastrami and mescal paper plane!

I bought Chicken fried burger πŸ” which was really small and RE-cooked. It didn't taste that good theeee price. I should know i was a California Culinary Academy employee under Chef Lars Jensen, De Maria, Didier from Paris Culinary Institute.
Almost $ 20 for a very small burger.
I know places / holes-in-the-wall which serve Double Cheeseburger with dripping big beef patties for $ 9.
Make it a COMBO with Soda can and fries and a $ 2 tip = $ 15

And they do not NOT recycle or compost much og their leftovers and recyclables. Is all thrash.

Came here a few weeks ago for SF Restaurant Week and ordered off the prix fixe menu… $30 each for a main, two sides, and dessert. Bar and restaurant with mostly high top seating, dark and casual with games on TV. Staff was friendly. Arrived around 5pm on a Friday with no wait, though it filled up quickly after. We got the smoked pulled pork and mesquite BBQ chicken with various sides, both with nilla wafer pudding. Everything was delicious and felt like a proper hometown BBQ… portions were so generous we had leftovers. We also caught happy hour, which runs separately from restaurant week… $10 gets you a pint plus a well shot. One of the better value meals I’ve had in SF. Will be back, and with its generous portions we can probably share next time.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Absolutely loved this BBQ spot. The food was delicious, flavorful, and honestly some of the best BBQ we’ve had in a while. Everything tasted fresh, perfectly cooked, and the portions/prices were great for the quality you get.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. What really stood out to me was how kind they were to our Golden retriever Labrador dog.. they brought him water and even gave him some BBQ rib scraps, which completely made our day. Such a thoughtful touch that you don’t see often.

Great happy hour, great service, great food, and overall just a really fun and welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again!!
