This place is awesome. They use quality ingredients to make some of the most delicious things you have ever tasted. The atmosphere is very upbeat and welcoming with a focus on customer service. They actually hire people with developmental disabilities and those who are homeless or at risk and teach them solid fundamentals for getting and keeping a good job.I can't say enough good things about this place. Mark, the manager, is awesome and caring, and Martha, the baker, is a step above other bakers and makes some of the most unique and delicious treats.I also have to mention Roxeanna, who works just about every position in the bakery and is always courteous and efficient.Do yourself and stop into the San Francisco treasure today.

Omg a Mexican Chocolate cookie?! ? So moist and delicious. Also their jalapeño biscuit sandwich was soft and very tasty. They use cornmeal, and it’s not spicy. Had it warmed up, and the egg was still soft and warm on the inside.Really affordable for most SF places, and they don’t upcharge you for milk substitutions, I really appreciate that.

Sour faced worker. Fruit bowl seemed a day old and my jalapeño egg and ham biscuit was cold in the middle.

Great cookies and pastries. Always nice when I can support a non profit social enterprise providing job training and employment for folks with disabilities. Plus Jamilla is a big fan

The food at this place is OMG good! Seriously, I was considering ordering a second piece of ham and cheese quiche; however, I refrained and ordered a scone instead. I was disappointed that there were no flavors available for my latte. They did have Mocha, so my husband was happy. When we placed our order at the counter, the person who took our order seemed annoyed. I asked her if they had any quiche left and she pointed to the pastry shelves and said, "That's what we have." I don't know if she was annoyed, but I did some digging and found that this place is a non-profit that "provides employment and training for people with disabilities, who are homeless or at risk." I'm all for that , so I can overlook that. Note that they are not open on Saturday and Sunday. They do have plenty of places to sit and enjoy your meal.

Worst chai I’ve ever had. Food was mediocre.

Vast selection of pastries. Good coffee. Skip the sandwiches. 16$ per head

This is a better bakery than similar ones in the area. But overall not particularly impressive. We tried one savory baked dish and one sandwich, both were a bit dry and not amazing. The drip coffee was the really disappointing part.Overall, I like that they have sweet and savory baked good options as well as salads and sandwiches- definitely a good number of variety.

Rustic baked pastries and modern cafe. Soyrizo egg empanada was savory, but was very neutral in terms of wanting more of it. Chicken pot pie was too dry to like as well as their chicken pesto empanada. Their mushroom empanada fared nicely. Their ham roll was spot on. Apple pie was missing like drizzled whipped cream, chocolate or strawberry. It was another on the too dry pastry item side. I like their scones! It looks dry, but the inside was just right with texture that compliments. Freshly squeezed OJ was welcomed! They have coffee selections freshly served as options.Solid spot for pastries and beverages

Not only is this an excellent place to get freshly baked bread and delicious sandwiches but they are a social enterprise supporting people with disabilities to get work. That's a win win for me!

The breaded chicken sandwich was flavorless and stone cold in the middle.

There isn't a huge variety of pastries here but the scones are very good. I chose the cherry almond which has dried cherries and whole almonds. The pastry is not at all heavy, as so many scones are, but perfectly light and delicious. My husband had the jalapeño egg biscuit which he thought was perfect. The only drawback was the cappuccino which was meh.

Great food. Love their baked goods, chicken curry sandwich and pot pies. And the background music is great too :)

A nice neighborhood bakery, I stopped in one weekday morning for some pastries and they were quite good. They didn’t have a large bread selection, but they do serve lunch.

The crust was good but chicken was a little dry. The latte that i ordered was good though and pastry case looked amazing. I'd go back and maybe do a cinnamon roll or a cookie next time
