Haystack pizza is an institution and Noe Valley staple! We came here on a Monday night for a third grade end of season soccer celebration and it hit all the marks. The pizza, pasta and salads were delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect with a post meal playground right next door. We definitely came in hot with 40+ people, but they handled it. We are eternally grateful for the smiles they offered us and we loved all the delicious...
The food was amazing and the lady serving us was very nice. The lemonade was a perfect balance of sweet and sour and the wings were just the right amount of spicy. Food was also so filling I couldn’t finish the last wing.
I attended an end of season soccer party held in the back room. Despite the small staff working, they cranked out the food orders. They were also completely unfazed by the chaotic group of kindergartners. I ordered a sausage pizza that was very tasty. It had a nice crust and large pieces of sausage. They also had North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner on draft, that you can order by the pitcher. This place has good vibes and good pizza, check them out if you're in the neighborhood.
