Cozy and cute spot for tasty American fare! I visited Hazie’s for a Saturday morning brunch on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the space was! The restaurant is spacious and extremely cozy, with ample seating and sunlight. The staff was remarkably friendly, cheerful, and attentive — they joked around with us, noticed immediately when we finished eating and boxed up our food / cleared plates, and were just all around an absolute delight. The food was also very tasty, although I think I’d be excited to come back for lunch / dinner vs. brunch and try from a more expansive (and more vegetarian-friendly) menu. I got their mushroom frittata, which was delicious; it was absolutely packed with mushroom, spinach, and leek, and it came topped with a generous spread of melty goat cheese and pico de gallo. I loved the pop of freshness from the pico — it was much needed to cut through how dense and heavy the frittata was otherwise. It also came with four slices of toast, although they were a smidge too buttery. My partner got their burger with avocado and a side salad and was also very impressed; he commented it was likely a 90th percentile burger for him. It was quite sizeable and cooked at a perfect medium (as he had ordered it), and I appreciated that they put all the tomatoes and pickles on the side so they didn’t get the burger all soggy. The salad was very fresh and quite tasty as well, and was a refreshing break between bites of burger (or, for me, frittata).

Decent environment, nice waiter but the hosteess gave me the side-eye when i walked in for some reason.
Food was not good, borderline horrrible, while still being priced as a decent restaurant. Majority of menu was fusion food, and in my experience that means bad on both standards with weak fundamentals, and that's what happened here. Duck carbonara does not have the blended taste of carbonara, and just adds gamy shredded duck into the dish. Guac & Hummus is what it sounds like, just the 2 items mixed together, the flavors was not enhanced and would be better served 1 by 1. Salmon latke was way too salty, the combination did not work at all.
Might be a good after work bar?

This place is really great. It's a little pricey for some people but it really has great presentation of food and drinks. Great place to celebrate.

Beautiful brunch spot with a concise but varied menu! I ordered the avocado toast which was tasty. I tasted the French toast which was decadent and delicious, and the Croque Madame which, although not to my taste, had an unexpected hint of truffle. The cocktails looked excellent and the atmosphere was laid back but vibey. The service wasn’t great but it didn’t materially affect the overall experience

Our food took a long time (45 minutes) for bagels and salmon and uh, bacon and Chilaquiles. The bartender was very kind and worked hard making up for it.

We had steaks with French fries and fried broccoli. Yes, it was delicious. But warn the waiter right away so that the chef does not add salt to the dish!!! - apparently the chef is in love and everything was oversalted, but it was still delicious. The German Riesling was really excellent. Lots of people, the bar works great, the waiters know their stuff. I give it 5 despite the overcrowding of the dish.

Service was terrible. Hostess and waiter were nowhere to be found. Had to ask two separate times for more water. Ordered two plates to share with a friend. We got the duck carbonara and scallops. The pasta was overcooked and unsalted. Nothing special about the scallops - definitely overpriced for what it was. Worst of all, my friend and I both had upset stomachs after the meal and both ended up on the toilet that same night so BEWARE!!! Was a shame because it looked like a nice place and the vibes around the bar area seemed like fun.

Came in on a Tuesday night really excited to check this place out while visiting from out of town. Unfortunately, i arrived at 9:15 PM to find the kitchen had already closed. I was able to enjoy a delicious cocktail before last call at 9:30—30 minutes before the posted closing time.
As someone who works in the restaurant and bar industry (Management) I was hoping there would be at least a few late-night food options available, or more of a relaxed vibe for guests to enjoy a nightcap. Just a heads-up for others: if you're planning a late visit, be aware that food service may end earlier than expected or stated on website.

Great dinner before the show at the Orpheum. They have happy hour until 6. We loved the special squash blossom appetizer. The play on French 75 was yummy and we had a boozy espresso shooter which was well balanced. The poke appetizer was perfect for the 3 of us. The duck pasta was ultra rich and tasty. The chef came over to chat which was so nice.

We had a reservation (for two) and were seated right away. It was busy, but the timing of the server & kitchen was just right. We shared the Thai watermelon salad and ahi poke, which was served on crispy wonton chips. The watermelon salad was really refreshing; the touch of heat from the slivers of pepper in the dressing was perfect---and I'm normally a wuss when it comes to spiciness. This salad was filling (for me). The ahi poke was served on 3 crispy wonton chips. The topping was a little too heavy for the wontons, but it was delicious. My dude had the burger, which he said was decent, but not what he'd recommend ordering off the menu. He said the bun overpowered the burger, but perhaps the real issue was that the burger/meat wasn't flavorful enough to be the star...Nonetheless, he ate all but one bite of it, plus devoured the large serving of fries. We finished with an espresso and the strawberry shortcake, which was a more traditional version with biscuits instead of angel food cake or a light white cake. It was good, though not as many strawberries as I would have liked, given the thickness of the biscuit. I'll eat here again, but I'll try the salmon next time.

Really great food, and a really great environment. Best poke bowl we’ve ever had and the wings were sooooo crispy. Highly recommend!
