A very basic dive bar. Had a martini on a Friday night and there were about 5 other people inside. IMHO nothing special.

For a corner bar, they have a good bartender very friendly, small place but good people great drinks The Hearth has been a staple in the Richmond district for years, Carl was the owner years ago and he was always welcoming. The new owners are great and very friendly feel very safe being in there it’s a great place to go and hang out.

A great dive bar in The Richmond District of San Francisco. The term "dive bar" does not indicate anything negative. They have a strong liquor selection and decent beers, too. The regulars were quite nice, and welcomed me. I believe one of the owners was behind the bar. They also had an area for darts (the metal pointy kind, not those plastic imitation darts). This place will definitely enter the rotation for me.

Relaxed neighborhood gem. They have a good drink selection, beers on tap, darts, pool and Street Fighter. I came in a stranger and left making new friends. Bartender-Mandi is fantastic. Will be coming back soon!Pros- good drinks, not fussy, locals hangout, good price pointCons- no food, but you can bring your own, so not a real downer
