Really cute and cozy cafe to enjoy a latte and pastry and get some work done. Their matcha was a perfect level of sweetness for me and the I also tried the Nutella Kouign Amman which was nice. Really friendly staff as well.

I've tried espresso beans from a number of different local roasters. I'm so happy that I've finally found one near my home which has beans that are consistently great quality. The range of unique drinks that they make, awesome. I go in and get something different pretty much any time I get a new bag, or any time I'm passing by for that matter!

These guys are the best every person I’ve encountered who works for this shop has just been super pleasant, super helpful. I drove up so I could place an order because my toddler is sick and they came out and took the order and paid for it through the window even though they don’t do that service I’m not saying they’re gonna do that for you all I’m saying is that they’re just the sweetest and very accommodating and especially today. I really appreciate them.❤️Danny! Thanks so much. This mama really appreciates u and so does my migraine ?? follow me on instagram & I’ll have a special gift for you next time I pop by!

Great coffee! I am big fun of good coffee. That one is strong and smooth, not bitter. Just as I like. Definitely come back to this place.

5 stars for lattes. I've tried the seasonal pandan and cookie one and really enjoyed them. 4/5 stars for service. I think a lot of people come here for the long list of yummy lattes and cute designs. I've been here twice. The first time, I asked if the barista (an Asian man who was very friendcan do a cute design, which they did (it was a cute cat). They actually asked if I had a request, and being my first time and put on the spot, I couldn't think of anything and asked for whatever that was cute/creative. Second time, I came prepared. I looked through the Yelp page and decided I wanted Totoro. The person who helped me, a tall man with curly hair, said they don't take requests and it would be "the experience from the barista". Ok, fair enough. I also told him I was able to put in a request last time and I had hoped for a Totoro this time. He mentioned that was hard to do and that he was the only person who knew how to do that. I assume he couldn't because he was working the register, but then he started making drinks and he served me my latte without a Totoro. So, he purposely told me he was the only person who knew how to do and he purposely didn't do it. I mean, I'd rather he tell me he didn't know how to do it because that felt rude after requesting it. If you are making a trek here for a cute latte, I want to make it clear that's not guaranteed.

Stopped here on our way to Academy of Sciences. We love to check out new and different roasters and we loved this place. Coffee is really good, I love that they have a variety of coffee drinks (don’t think they make their own syrups), and was a cute little shop. I got a cortado which I always get and it didn’t disappoint, and a birthday cake latte just for fun. The latte was good but I would get an add shot next time. My husband got a drip coffee complimentary since we bought a bag of beans and he loved it. Our nephews got hot chocolate and downed it right away. We will def. Be stopping by here again. We got there right when they opened on a rainy Saturday and you could tell this place is a busy place.

Great coffee with the cutest coffee art which I always look forward to seeing "what will they draw on my cup today," and delicious, yet overpriced avocado toast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Yummy coffee! I also lovveee their jasmine latte. This used to be a 5 star for me, and I adored their kimchi avocado toast. Unfortunately I think they have changed ingredients, as it's just not the same anymore :( bring back the original pleaseeee! Oh, and the chocolate chip cookies. Bring those back too please.

Goto place for a nice cup of coffee close to Union square. We usually go with their recommendation: Birthday cake and Lavender latte.

I first visited here in 2019 when visiting from London. We went almost everyday of our trip while we were staying with friends nearby. It became legendary (to us) and we always talked about how great a cafe it was. Finally, in Dec 2023 we were able to visit again. We were happy to find it had grown with several branches. It’s still great and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in SF.

Very nice cafe deep on Clement street. The area is very calm and the home coffee roasters reflects that. There were mostly people working without taking meetings as the sound is somewhat noisy. It was such a great place to work though! Also got the vanilla latte which was really good. Want to to go back and try their other drinks as well, especially the cool, colorful ones.

I've frequented Home Coffee Roasters multiple times, and it's become one of my go-to spots for a cup of joe and some work. This charming little coffee shop has a lot going for it. First and foremost, the ambience here is top-notch. It's cute and cozy with warm lighting and comfortable seating arrangements. It's the kind of place where you can sink into a chair, sip your coffee, and feel like you're in your own little world. It's an ideal spot to get some work done, read a book, or simply relax. The service at Home Coffee Roasters is one of the highlights. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring you get your order in no time. However, while they are quick, I have to admit that the quality can sometimes be hit or miss. The coffee is usually good, but occasionally, it may not meet the high standards I expect from a place like this. Parking can be a bit of a headache since it's mostly metered parking in the area, and the shop can get quite busy during peak hours. Finding a spot can be challenging, so be prepared to circle the block a few times or arrive during off-peak hours if you can. Despite the occasional quality hiccup and parking challenges, I'll keep coming back to Home Coffee Roasters. Its ambiance and convenience make it a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, catch up on work, and soak in the cozy atmosphere. It's a hidden gem worth exploring, especially if you're in the mood for a relaxed and productive coffee experience.

Home's drinks are a little heavy on novelty and don't necessarily match the presentation with the flavor, but they make up for it with a cohesive and pleasing aesthetic. Well worth the occasional trip for the unique menu.

In a city full of coffee shops, Home truly sets themselves aside by having excellent coffee, yummy food, and the best service. The crew here are always so friendly and just make you feel…at home (no pun intended). Seriously, the best people work here. And I always go here whenever we come to the city. Oh and those original mochi muffins are TO DIE FOR!
