Trendy and overrated. Barristas gossipy and unprofessional. Didn’t call me by my name, so I feel invalidated. Pour over was cold and average.

Great coffee but service was tough at this location. Only had two people dealing with everything so you can't blame them very much. Seemed like they were too stressed so we're taking it out on the customers. Try the other locations it's worth it for the coffee!

I visited this coffee shop as my friends had mentioned it was the best coffee spot they ever tried in SF; so I had to give it a shot.
Coffee isn’t that great at all. There’s far better coffee shops like Sextant Coffee Roasters, Saint Frank Coffee or Scullery. I bought a whole bean coffee for a friend and they gift you a free cold brew or drip coffee. I chose the cold brew and it is the worst I’ve tried in my life; tasted like a sour tangerine mixed with lemon with cold brew color.
Love the decor! Everything felt like homey until the ladies up front were super rude, not very comprehensive in listening to what we wanted and just ignore any request even though we mentioned that we didn’t get to get charged extra for the addition when trying to order. They had a machine to pre-order but it didn’t allow to pay or add other notes to our coffee order so we decided to just order up front.
I had the Iced Cookie Monster Latte with Almond Milk and wasn’t impressed on their coffee. More almond milk taste than coffee. Cookie butter was nonexistent they only top it off with those Chocolate Chip cereal is what looked and tasted.
Cold brew do not order, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Salted Caramel Latte with Soy Milk was okay but nothing out of this world.
Never again.

Recommend. Limited menu but what’s there is done well. Happy staff makes it a pleasant experience.

Had the Peru poor-over, but the coffee was very bitter. Expected better for that price and from a roaster. My partner had a London dog that was one of the best they had.

Didn’t open on time
I have a soft spot for this cafe. Was a go to for study sessions/applications back when I was a student. I come here and there now and staff is still friendly as always. They have a good amount of seating indoors with wifi. Homey (like the name), non pretentious cafe.
They were known for their Birthday Cake Latte back in the day. They have fun interesting flavors but their basics including cappuccino and drip coffee are solid.
Street parking around the neighborhood is available!

Incredibly kind staff and cozy atmosphere!!
Difficult to find seats when I visited.
This little coffee shop has a nice handful of interesting latte flavors, which is what I tend to look for. I was excited to try their red velvet and Cookie Monster lattes. The service was friendly, and the space was nice, but I wasn’t blown away by the coffees, unfortunately.
The red velvet was solid, but the Cookie Monster one was less remarkable. I think the flavors and add-ons probably work better if you get that latte hot, though.
Overall, it is a spot worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I stopped by for breakfast and ordered the avocado toast — absolutely fantastic! 🥑🍞 Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots around. Highly recommend!

Terrible coffee, had to have them remake it bc it was actually sour and undrinkable. Hella expensive too. So not worth
Celebrated 60 years of Grateful Dead with a stunning birthday cake latte for Jerry Garcia's birthday. Watch these talented baristas craft magic before your very eyes. The avocado toast was also delicious for brunch. Plenty of room to stay a while or study before checking out the 16 Steps or heading over to Golden Gate Park.

Coffee was decent and the staff were really friendly. The shop has big windows and lots of natural light, making it a nice spot to sit for a while.
It’s clearly a coworking cafe vibe with almost every table taken by someone on a laptop. Seating can be tough to find during peak hours, and the space is on the smaller side. I was here working too, so I can’t complain, but it’s not a place you’d come to relax without a purpose.
Nice if you’re already in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way just for this.
