Best dim sum I've had in a very long time. Cute too! Really good vegetable fried rice too!

Good (but not great) old skool dim sum. Decent food. Prices are higher. Service ok. Wait required for table.

There are nicer dim sum places in the bay but will cost even more. SF is expensive even for a burrito or a burger.

First time I come in. No one explained that we had to circle our order in the menu. I also noticed no ventilation no windows. To many people. Very stuffy. Food was ok. Tea they offer is not free like some other places.

We really wanted to like this place… unfortunately the wait to order was very long, then the wait for the food ordered was very long (the potstickers came an hour after we ordered and had already eaten the rest of the food). The food was not that good - we ordered half Peking duck which didn’t have much flavor. The beef short rib clay pot also lacked flavor. The potstickers were not very good and they were served with ketchup…. All dishes were pretty pricey. My husband saw an employee in the men’s bathroom take his gloves off, go to the bathroom, not wash his hands, put the same gloves back on and walk out of the bathroom. Not good. Overall we were disappointed and won’t be coming back.

Our favorite Chinese restaurant in the city. We especially love the dim sum offerings. Go-to spot when folks visit from out of town.

Since when did they start charging a cover charge for 3 people?! $4.50 per person. It's just crazy because we are really good tippers and we have to pay extra just to sit at the restaurant.

I can see why there was no wait on a Saturday morning....

A perennial favorite in terms of dim sum quality and dinner menu. HK lounge has been around for a while, as far back as mid-90’s if I remember correctly having dined here at that time. I recall the quality of dim sum being good then and still is.
Come early on weekends to avoid waitlisting.

The audacity to charge a “cover charge” of 1.50 per person and then demand a 18% tip without an option to change. This is considered illegal practices.

Food is average and the place has a distinct unpleasant odor the moment you walk in.

I came here after researching, and this seems to be THE place for dim sum in San Francisco. This was a busy place, but it didn't take that long for me to get a seat for lunch. Being from Maine and not having the best Asian food, my mind was sort of altered coming in. This place screams authentic (in my little Mainer mind). They seemed pretty slammed on a Tuesday. I was a little confused on the way to order, but they give you a menu where you fill out exactly what you want. I decided to try something new, a BBQ Pork noodle roll! It was good. These seemed to be made with rice flour. I liked the pork and the strong BBQ flavor. It was a little hard for me to pick up, but a nice lady helped me properly pick it up LOL. I also got the baked BBQ pork buns. Probably my 2nd favorite food item. And so so good. I wish I was having them now. It was a very memorable experience.

Hands down one of the best Dim Sum places in Chinatown San Francisco! Always a family favorite 🫶🏼

Everything is always so fresh, clean establishment, service is friendly & the food is sooooo good!

We ordered dim sum lots of dishes from jelly fish to egg tart to pork buns to fried taro to chicken feet to shu mai to beef ribs and the list goes on. Can’t really count everything that family always order. Way too many goodies and it is extremely cheap!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
