The oil used to fry the fish smelled old. The bread used in the twenty dollar sandwich was very cheap bread not like a real roll or sour dough, but more like cheap wonder bread and it was dry. After I ate my fish sandwich I was having stomach issues for several days. I don't know if it's from the fish sandwich, because it tasted okay. But I wouldn't return for anything.

My son looked up the best fish and chips in the city, and this place came up at the top. We did end up waiting about 45 minutes, which felt long at first, but everything is cooked fresh, with fish brought in that day, and you can really taste the difference.

The fish was excellent, and the batter was crisp without being greasy, which honestly surprised me. The fries are seasoned with herbs like thyme and rosemary, something you might expect on meat, yet it somehow works perfectly on potatoes.

I can imagine this being a real neighbourhood favourite in the summer. I’ll be crossing my fingers for an East Bay location someday.

We’ve only been in the area since the 12th but we’ve already eaten here three times. Their carrot hot sauce and spicy aioli are amazing and we’ve tried the sandwich, soup, burrito and just fish and chips and it’s all been amazing. We wanted to try a bunch of different places in the area but it’s hard not to come back here cause it tastes so fresh and good.

We were skipped in line, not enough seatings and the food is mid.

Fresh, tasty, wonderful fish burritos. Sometimes can get crowded or slow, but worth the wait.

This place has the FRESHEST fish! I always get the fish n chips and a few oysters. The oysters really feel like they just came out of the ocean. The fish n chips are the perfect crispy to soft ratio. Staff here is always friendly too!

Really enjoyed the neighborhood atmosphere. My suggestion is to have the sauces on the side. They are spicy. Give the customer the opportunity to choose what to use.

I had Rockfish fish plate. And a special of the day called Red Curry. Just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend.

Great spot for fish and chips after a stroll at Ocean Beach! Loved this spot, good range of fish options and a great book and coffee shop opposite!
