This is, hands down, one of the best sushi places I have ever been to regarding quality of food. If you're more concerned with atmosphere, it might not be for you, but if you're looking for incredibly good sushi, I can't recommend it enough.

We are obsessed with Hot Zushi and love Connie! It’s our favorite sushi spot in the city and we’ve come here for years. It feels homey and the rolls are so unique and fresh! Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough :)

A longer wait or subpar service can sometimes be OK, but dealing with both as we did tonight was very disappointing. We ordered one appetizer and two rolls that took nearly an hour to arrive, even though there were just two other tables seated alongside us.
About 40 minutes in, we asked for an ETA. The server snapped “It’s coming, they’re waiting too”, pointing to one of the other tables. I was pretty put off by this, especially given the manner in which checked in and how long we had waited.
The food, for what it is worth, was pretty tasty. But based on the experience we had overall, I won’t be going back.

I just had a lite dinner here.the calamari tentacles were delicious and the meso soup 🍜 was good too. I came here because it was 10 minutes from my apartment. I say the food was good at this place. The service was very friendly and the overall ambiance of the place was great. I give them 5 stars ⭐️ . I may come back here again sometime

One of my favorite low key spots. Been here several times since about 2018 and it has always been spot on. Always amazing fresh sushi. Never once have I felt like they took a short cut. Competes with anything around tbh.

My family I I got to visit this cute hidden spot today on our visit to Sf, and we loved it. It’s a small intimate setting with limited seating but we were able to come and grab a table upon arrival. The staff is so kind and delighted to serve their tasty food to the customers. The pricing was amazing as someone coming from Monterey where the lower price of sushi ranges from 11-15 for basic rolls. The specials were great and we got there just before they ended..which gave us a chance to try many more things at an extremely affordable rate. The flavors were amazing and a refreshing new take on rolls I have been keen on for sometime! I wish I could keep this place to myself but it just so good I want to give props to the business. This is a new staple for me and I can’t wait to come back! 10/10
