Very yummy food! Got seconds bc we couldn’t get enough of it😋 Only minus point is that the waitress was hard to understand when we asked if the miso soup is vegetarian.

The food was a bit below average, salmon and the salad are not quite fresh. The restaurant is adjacent to the street where there’s lots of homeless and I saw shit on the way…and a at least 18% of tips is mandatory here

Cute little place. Sushi is decent. Rice on regular rolls can also be pink premium. Special rolls are bomb!

Recently rebranded to yasijang. Was already a nice spot as ikes and even better now!
I stopped by for an impromptu lunch and was seated quickly. I ordered the tempura udon, which was delicious and generously portioned. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

OPTIMAL! Following the other reviews we arrived at this small Japanese restaurant, almost invisible from the street. Excellent and well-groomed food. Very kind staff, very helpful both in advice and in customizing orders! A little dark but welcoming place!

Had a wonderful Soju night with friends! It used to be a great sushi place, and transformed to a fun soju place with delicious food. While the sushi remains top-notch, the addition of Soju and tapas has elevated the experience to new heights. A definite must-visit for a lively and delicious night out. Highly recommended!

Every visit or delivery has been a more than satisfying experience. The food is fresh and cooked to order but served quickly. We've only eaten there once but have gotten food delivered many times. The atmosphere is mellow and soothing and unless you look out the window you can't tell you are on Van Ness.Everything is very clean and our waitress was perfect. The chicken teriyaki is a must-enough for two,it comes with just right white rice and salad with a unique, delicious dressing. My absolute favorite dish,I think it's the best I've ever had and we order it every time. There's nothing crazy here, the menu consists of standard Japanese fare meant to be comforting and nourishing. They have a good selection of sushi and it tastes like it was caught that very day.I could go on and on-for a romantic date I highly recommend coming here.(Note-we ate in late Sunday night, not sure how busy it is other times). Our deliveries are always hot, fresh and properly packaged.Love this place!

Casual little gem of a place in SF! I went for lunch in between sight seeing and am SO glad I did. Maki rolls are very much worth the price, especially the double double. Probably the only place I’ve ever been that gave me enough ginger. Stop by, it’s worth the visit!

It is safe to say that my mission to find the best chicken teriyaki in the city of SF has been accomplished. Ike's chicken is grilled and has the charred consistency and taste to it. Their chicken is juicy, tender, and NOT slimey. This, along with their sauce, their salad, their miso soup, and even their asparagus, makes this a divine dining experience. Ike's Japanese Kitchen is an SF gem ? ✨️ <3
