Ike's Love & Sandwiches

We’ve never been disappointed with Ike’s crazy concoctions. The menu is a little hard to read, but you get used to it and it’s fun to discover new favorites.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and vegan options

Parking: It can get difficult during baseball games or basketball games, but otherwise you should be able to find a place to park pretty easily

Kid-friendliness: It’s a bright fun place with the kids menu as well

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with plenty of space to get around

Customer service here is atrocious. I come to this location often only to never return. Today I made a mistake and accidentally ordered from the Polk St store. I went to pick up the order and this lady kept staring at me for 10 minutes as I waited. Finally she asked to help me. I made a mistake and ordered from the wrong store. This incompetent person never even offered to help me out by my calling that store, cancelling the order or anything. Service is horrible. Don’t go! Humans make mistakes.

The food was sooo good, that blt with the turkey added is peak! Sean and the team really took care of us. I can tell they really enjoy their job. Sean and everyone on staff Aug 25th 2024, all need a raise. Thanks for the great service and patience. They made us want to have an Ike’s in the Midwest to Chicago. Come on over!

Sandwich was great and service is friendly and quick, nothing much else to say! my only critique about ike’s is the menu can feel pretty overwhelming with tons of similar but different items named for various people and jokes, which seems to scare off some people who come in and look at the menu. Look at the menu before you come!

The vegetarian sandwiches are wonderful and creative. The ingredients felt fresh. And the staff is extraordinarily kind and helpful. Highly recommend! ❤️

Update 8/9/2024: Moved from 5 stars to 3. Place seems understaffed. Lots of people here waiting 20+ minutes for their sandwich. Hope they will address these issues!

I am shocked at how delicious #1 is. Was my first time at Ike’s and was very impressed. I’ll be back!
