We came to Il Cilentano Pasta Bar four years ago and had such a great experience that we had to come back — and it’s still just as amazing! My daughter loves their gnocchi, it’s perfectly soft and full of flavor. The pizza, fresh bread, and appetizers were all delicious too.

The restaurant has such a cozy, authentic Italian feel, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of our favorite spots in San Francisco for fresh, homemade pasta! 🇮🇹🍝

Incredible pasta dishes--fresh and light and lovely. I had the truffle gnocchi, the homemade sausage rigatoni and the mushroom agnolotti. Next time I'd skip salad and desserts and just order double the amount of pasta. It's that good. Owner is a friendly, funny guy. Bill came out exactly right. Can't emphasize enough how delicious the pasta is. I spent a ton including a bottle of wine last night and I'm seriously considering going back tonight to try more of...

i am a fan of the old school North Beach Italian hood that has felt like it is dying off...i have been concerned sinced visiting there in 2020 and seeing so much of the area closed. Visiting the area now in Dec 2024, i had something specific i was looking for - a puttenesca dish- and i found it here! it was amazing. i had the restaurant to myself which i was initially concerned about.
