Illy Caffe is a welcoming spot with a clean environment and friendly staff. The menu offers a range of options, including great coffee, decent pastries and sandwiches, and a standout breakfast sandwich, the Egg White and avocado breakfast sandwich. Located opposite gate B9 at the gorgeous new Harvey Milk Terminal 1, it’s a solid coffee shop with a good variety of sandwiches and baked goods, as well as a "take away freshness" section. While service can be inconsistent, depending on staffing, the cafe has a pleasant atmosphere, though seating is limited to high stools. The self-order kiosks may sometimes be non-operational, but the line moves fairly quickly. It’s a nice spot to relax and enjoy a latte or matcha latte before a flight, though some may find the coffee too hot or the milk foam lacking creaminess.
