Delicious lunch buffet . The server - Fabi was so kind and offered us chai tea and mango lassi. We came late for lunch and they were so patient with us and we had a fabulous meal and didn’t feel rushed. I recommend 100% this long existed neighbourhood restaurant (25 years old).

Absolutely outstanding experience! The Clay Oven Restaurant truly went above and beyond — they literally drove from San Francisco to hand-deliver my food to Sausalito, which says everything about their level of service and care for customers.
Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic flavor. The Saag Paneer was rich and delicious, the Rogan Josh is officially my favorite, and the Garlic Naan was warm, soft, and unforgettable.
The team was exceptionally kind, professional, and the delivery was surprisingly fast considering the distance. It’s rare to find both amazing food and this level of hospitality.
I can’t wait to visit the restaurant in person soon. Thank you, Indian Clay Restaurant, for such a fantastic experience!

Wow! Had such a fantastic dinner at India Clay Oven tonight. Was in search of soulful, perfectly spiced and delicious Indian food in the Richmond and found just that. I am vegetarian and had plenty of options! Navi was an excellent server and and made sure that we enjoyed our food — even added some extra sauce to one of our dishes when we packed it up as leftovers! We were treated to an incredible dessert, I’m already dreaming about the next time I can come have it again. Could not recommend it here more, we will be back!

It was unexpectedly pleasant experience. In this neighborhood we expected to find good Chinese food, but this Indian traditional restaurant way exceeded our expectations. Food was fresh and cooked to order, and service very timely. The final bill was very reasonable. We recommend their lamb tikka masala and tandoori dishes. On top of that, they stay open all day making it convenient for the unscheduled late lunch or early dinner. Highly recommended!

Our new favorite, local Indian restaurant! My friend and I ordered the pre-set dinner for 2 - it was SO much food and everything was delicious. Naba was an excellent waiter (filled out to go boxes with additional sauce so our leftovers wouldn’t be dry.. the sweetest!!). The cool windows in the space were also a nice plus - the place was very clean with white table cloths. Overall we were incredibly happy with our experience and will definitely be back!
