I been there last week with my family. It were our first time, and i was very impressed with the food quality decor and service. Our server was friendly and informative. She guided us through the menu and her recommendations were spot on! Great value as well. A hidden gem! Very glad i came here.
From the outside, this izakaya is so inconspicuous that I didn't realize I had arrived but the inside is so cute. I came with a friend and the weekday night we came it was on the more quiet side so I would say it's better for dates or small friend gatherings. We ordered 3 items and they were all so good. So so so good. Highly recommend Motsu Nabe and fried lotus root, but you can't go wrong with anything here. Pricing was really reasonable too. Favorite izakaya in SF, can't wait to be back.
