I'm from Honolulu and feeling a bit homesick so always in search of foods that remind me of home. Heard about this pop-up located in Indo and had to check it out. At 1030 am on a Sunday, we waited only 15 minutes!!! We were initially told the wait would be 45 min. Granted there were several parties in front of us who were called but weren't seated because their entire party wasn't present, so I suspect that's why our wait was so short. Tried Morning wood at San Bruno before and waited for two hours. Love their food so wanted to try out their new location. Went there on a Sunday morning at 11:40, 12 tables above me. Luckily waited for only less than one hour before we got our table. Not too long. They changed their menu so they don't have the mochi pancake. But they have the mochi muffins which is so good too. Arrived around 9:30AM (ain't nobody trying to wait 2+ hours) and there were still empty tables. I think the line didn't start forming until past 10AM, but even so, there were still a few empty tables available but the guests weren't being seated right away. Me and my friend were anticipating a matcha french toast, but it wasn't on the menu, so we got the katsu jam french toast.
