I grew up in Philly and this is the best cheese steak place in the bay.
Vegetarian options: My daughter's vegetarian and the beyond meat cheese steak is not bad. Plus the cheese fries are good.

I’m not sure if my review went on I’ve been a customer at Jake’s stakes in the marina ever since they opened up shop there unfortunately I have to leave this review. The employees were very rude humiliating and prejudice. I walked in. There was absolutely no one in the cheesesteak shop, I was the only one there. I sat there for 10 or 15 minutes waiting to place an order for a cheesesteak. There were two men behind the counter and they were both talking Latin and ignoring that I was there I asked can someone please take my order they told me to order from the kiosk that they were busy. And was not able to take my order, but let me point out one was cooking in the other one was just standing there conversation with him. I told them that I did not have my glasses to order from the kiosk. They laughed and the guy that was just standing there told me to come back when I can see more clearly or have glasses. They continue their conversation in Latin and start I left from Jake’s steaks very humiliated laughing. I left from Jake steaks very humiliated. Upset and did not order anything. They are not attentive to customers. I asked if the owner was here because I had met him several times and he was super nice. They said what we can’t hear you talking in a really rude tone and laughing. I’ve been going there and really enjoyed the cheesesteaks. I’m from the East Coast and it’s very hard to get a good cheesesteak in San Francisco, but unfortunately, I will never Again

This places rules. Great for Eagles fans or anyone who loves an authentic cheesesteak. This could very well be the best cheesesteak in SF. Definitely try this if you haven’t already!

I don’t think calling me buddy (not your buddy, pal) and throwing food across the table without saying a word is an exemplary service. I even tipped those people. And $25 for a mediocre sub? No, thank you.

Food was delicious! Other way I ate steak than that I’m usual, but it was surprising good! I liked the food! Really tasteful! Service was really good! Friendly people en spontaneous. Vibe is original, obviously fans of the eagles! Only not much space inside, big groups have not enough space for eating, only outside there are much chairs and tables.
Super attentive and friendly service. Bought 2 cheesesteaks, waffle and curly fries, and buffalo chicken tenders. Delicious, greasy-like pub food that hits the spot. Will be back.
