Wei’s Café is a cozy spot that locals know well, even if it's easy to miss. I visited to have dinner with friends. The café is small, with just a few tables, including one long table for groups.
Locals also refer to it as Jo Jo’s Café. The menu offers a mix of American breakfast favorites, Cantonese dishes, Vietnamese options, and some Hong Kong-style meals. This variety provides plenty of choices for any craving.
We shared several dishes, including Chicken Chow Fun, Spicy Garlic String Beans, and Basil Tofu. Everything was good, and the portions were big enough to share easily. This café isn't flashy or trendy; it's a laid-back place serving familiar food at a steady pace. If you're in the Ocean Avenue area and want a casual meal in a friendly environment, Wei’s Café is a great choice.

Clean and comfy inside with friendly service. They have a big menu with breakfast (eggs, bacon), Vietnamese pho, baked spaghetti, snacks, and curries. Really good iced milk tea and lemon tea.

The pork with garlic noodle was very delicious.
A mostly Asian (Chinese, Vietnamese) menu that happens to also offer pretty solid breakfast standards like omelettes, pancakes, sausage, etc. It’s a perfect set up when one of us wants something more Asian for breakfast like noodle soup with a tasty fried egg on top and the other wants western breakfast! I had wonton noodle veg soup. Wontons had delicate texture with balanced flavor in the pork/shrimp filling,. Husband had western classic special 2 eggs, 2 sausage, pancakes, AND it came with coffee or milk tea (you never see that in SF)
Friendly staff, very laid back atmosphere.
The price was very reasonable. Will be back to try other menu items.

Nice little spot. Prices are better in person, they are more expensive on doordash so just go physically. Food is good. I’m a white guy so idk how authentic it is but I see mostly Asian people inside and the menu is also written in Chinese so yeah!

Came here after a long run and it filled me up!
Good:
- The curry laksa soup was amazing!
- The baked pork chop was also amazing - so much flavor
- The portion sizes and prices were great- we even took home almost the whole dish since we had so much food left over.
- The place is super clean and modern inside, super cute and nice fairy lights and tons of seating, no wait
Bad:
- The food took a little bit to get to us, and it was really cold inside on a super cold day
- The servers don't speak great english so it's a bit hard to communicate
Overall would come again for the value.
