The 2 of us were seated adjacent to the bar and the noise level was deafening - we couldn't hear each other speaking. If I returned here on business and was offered this seating I would walk out. Food was outstanding as was the service, the noise spoiled the evening!
If you have a reservation, don't expect it to be on time. We waited over 30 minutes past our time. Based on fellow diner comments, while waiting outside, they too experienced the same significant reservation delays.
Very old school steak house. Excellent steak, and very comprehensive wine list, delicious beet salad and well cooked veggie sides. Cheesecake only so-so. The service was great. Our waiter was not at all pushy, rushed, or invasive so we could have a leisurely meal, but he was available, helpful and efficient. Good balance.
