Joy's Place is a great cafe near Union Square. I happened upon this place after work one day and I've enjoyed their offerings a lot. Notable standouts: 1. Peanut Butter Cream Latte- seems like the pb cream is homemade, or the peanut halves are a nice touch. 2. Bulgogi Sandwich 3. Breakfast Sandwich The space can sit a fair amount of people. Bright and airy. Clean bathrooms. Thanks Team JP!

Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Amazing tiny family run place. Enjoy!

I usually don't common on restaurants since what I need is basic. The guy works in the shop is mean and rude. He kept asking me" what? ", " I couldn't hear you..." I am not a native American, but I don't have these problems with any coffee or restaurant run by American. The service is DISAPPOINTED. This guy doesn't what he is doing. Food is basic and pricey. So many better coffee shops or cake shops in this area.

Seem like nice people but the coffee was insanely strong (even for an avid drinker) and messed me up for the day. Be careful when ordering.

Kind service and unique drink options. If you like peanut butter, the peanut butter cream latte is a must! Lots of seating and outlets!

Get the breakfast sandwich, you won't regret it. The cream mocha is delicious too. It's a little mom & pop cafe with good table spacing, went there with a friend for our first time to try as locals. We'll be coming more often :)

I had the best latte here. I’m really excited to come back for their food. They decorated the walls with this really cute fake moss and it’s like a indoor garden vibe. I really thought it was cute too because I committed on the wall to my barista and he said his mom did it. I feel really good supporting small businesses and I hope other people would want to frequent this place. I check their website and it’s actually well made and like a son and mother work here. That’s adorable highly recommend this place!

Decided to give this place a try because they had good reviews on Google. I was drawn to their specialty peanut butter cream latte, but it was a huge let-down. I was expecting some peanut butter to be mixed into the latte, but you're paying over a $1 more for a cold blob of peanut butter on top. The coffee itself was alright. You can find better and cheaper coffee options in the city. Based on the Yelp recommendations, it definitely seems like this place is more known for its food than drinks.

Beautiful plant wall. Clean simple menu. The cloud cappuccino was wonderful and the barista was smiling and happy.

Great coffee in an inviting, unpretentious (and untouristy)

We discovered this place by chance. The sandwich is absolutely delicious! Hot chocolate too. We will return there during our stay!I just find it a shame that the service is not done at the table. There was only one other customer who had already been served...and no one after us was waiting. We still had to go get our order.

This place is such a hidden gem! Flavory sandwiches, toast but soft bread (not easily find) and great coffee as well.

Delicious croissant waffles! Small place but very tasty. Got the strawberry version and wish I could have this right now.

Popped in here for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised! It wasn't crowded at all when we visited which was a big plus, as we didn't need to wait very long. I got the Matcha Latte and the Turkey Sandwich. Honestly, both were delicious. The Turkey Sandwich is huge and did not skimp on the fillings, so we actually had some leftover to take home. And the matcha flavor in the latte was strong, and I can tell they use a higher quality matcha. However, I will say the prices here are fairly steep. The latte in particular was like $8 and it came in a pretty small cup.
