About ZZAN Korean Restaurant

ZZAN Korean Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience in Lower Nob Hill. The restaurant features traditional and modern Korean dishes, including the must-try cold noodle soup with kimchi, providing a refreshing and tangy flavor. The beef soft tofu soup is comforting, although the broth fragrance could be improved.

Prices are reasonable for San Francisco, and K-pop music videos play in the background, creating a lively atmosphere. Customers have praised the well-made marinated beef, the flavorful beef short rib with nice grill marks, and the delicious spicy pork. The BBQ spicy pork is highly recommended, and the cold noodle with kimchi is also a satisfying option, although not as delicious as some other dishes.

The restaurant offers limited side dishes, with only 3 side dishes and a small plate of shredded cabbage with spicy mayo dressing available. However, the kimchi is tasty. Parking is available on the street, and wheelchair accessibility may be tight. ZZAN Korean Restaurant provides a delicious and quick dining experience, often staying open late when other places are closed, making it a great spot for comfort meals like Kimchi Fried Rice.

Big portions especially marinated stir fried beef
The food was okay-very very heavy. Borderline hurt my tummy. The service started off pretty good but we had to get up and ask for the bill. The restaurant is in a good location and had nice seating. Overall I’d give it a 3/5- it’s nice to try once but probably won’t be going again.
Came in late and the restaurant was almost full. Still got seated right away and well taken care of. Food is amazing we had the clam soup to share with Bulgogi. Excellent establishment.
