Kama Sushi is a reliable choice for delicious takeout or dining in. Known for their perfect rice, the basic maki rolls are always a hit, as well as their specialty rolls like the Negi hama maki. The California roll is also highly recommended. The chicken teriyaki and chirashi don are favorites, with quick pickup service even on busy nights. Nigiri is solid, benefiting from that perfect rice texture. The party tray is very good and can feed 3 very hungry people. Happy hour rolls are a great deal, served until 6:30pm on weekdays, with discounted rolls at $7. The rolls have the golden ratio of filling to rice, and the sashimi comes in thick slices. The tempura is light and crispy, with a good selection of vegetables like eggplant, kabucha squash, and carrot. Kama Sushi also offers a ton of good vegetarian options, and the food is always fresh. The service is pretty good, with really nice tables and kind waiters and waitresses. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, Kama Sushi impresses with its consistent and delicious offerings.
