Great place for a girl’s date! The smoked salmon sandwich was delicious but I probably would switch out my chicken apple salad sandwich with a different one. The sandwiches were very simple and nothing too fancy, but the scones were incredible.My table got 3 herbal teas: Vanilla Rooibos, Forest Berries and Rose Hips, and Blood Orange. For years this has been the best place for English Afternoon Tea in the SF bay area. While the rest have made tea prohibitively expensive, Lovejoy's is still comparatively reasonable. Plus, the food is better than most.

Lovejoy's Tea Room was an amazing experience. I enjoyed the sandwiches, the scones, and the tea. I had so much fun talking with my friends while enjoying tea. The place is decorated so well that it fits with the whole aesthetic of high tea. Although it's a bit on the pricey end, it was a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly.
