CUTEST PLACE EVER!!! Actually sad I've lived in sf 6 years and ever been here before. For a tea setting this place is a good price point. Food was really yum and came on a tower. I very much enjoyed the scones and clotted cream. I got the cucumber cream cheese sandwhich and walnut apple chicken salad sandwhich which were very yum. No notes, this place is the perfect mix of old British vibes and cute mad hatter tea house. I'm obsessed and will be back when my mom is in town. They also have a sister store across the street and the lady in there is very sweet. Will be buying fancy tea as gifts from there in the future.

Lovejoy's helped with catering for a cocktail party for 40 guests and their sandwiches were delicious and perfect for our event.

Got the Queens Tea for two and it was amazing, great for a light snack! The service is great, and the decor is out of this world!

Can understand if you like the teas and sitting down to just chat and enjoy. The sandwiches and sausage rolls though we're really meh and while the price is decent, just not too big of a fan.

I came here for my birthday about a month ago. I loved it so much I returned last Thursday. I enjoyed the Tea Room Blend & chicken apple walnut sandwiches. Both times, I sat out in the parklet. The space is just as cute. Also, it would be perfectly fine to sit there - rain or shine. Our server always made sure to check on us. I never felt neglected. Can't wait to go back!

A nice, quirky place with friendly people and decent tea. I must say, the people are the best part, especially the customer service. I made reservations a while in advance and on the day before, two of my friends became sick. I called and the lady on the phone was lovely and helpful and I was able to postpone the reservation twice! The interior is nice and the service was aligned with what I had experienced on the phone. Very nice and cordial. I was a bit disappointed by the portion size and creativity for the price they charge. The sandwiches were very lackluster and on the smallish side. Nothing special, really. The presentation however was really nice and I love the mismatched dishes!

Lovejoy's Tea Room was an amazing experience. I enjoyed the sandwiches, the scones, and the tea. I had so much fun talking with my friends while enjoying tea. The place is decorated so well that it fits with the whole aesthetic of high tea. Although it's a bit on the pricey end, it was a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly.

Pretty good! It was a nice snack and I would like to eat in the dining room this time around. Otherwise I really enjoyed the settup.

The tower is plain non plus. Eating out to me means the food is an experience different from home and needs some defining aspects that justifies eating out; some qualities: what the place looks like, ambient or industrial, are you treated with care or contempt, could you share the experience and be dressed up in your best clothes if you felt like it, (staff can be judgy and assuming,) and the how does it taste? I'm from Texas for some of my upbringing, the part where you eat everything no complaint, so I can do that and do, it should be good enough. I like it better that it's all good or in balance. I found Lovejoy's lacking. I like Daniel better. ‍

Love this place! The biscuits are so good and it's such a cute vibe. Haven't found a place like this before. The service is also really good and the staff is friendly.

Great place for a girl’s date! The smoked salmon sandwich was delicious but I probably would switch out my chicken apple salad sandwich with a different one. The sandwiches were very simple and nothing too fancy, but the scones were incredible. My table got 3 herbal teas: Vanilla Rooibos, Forest Berries and Rose Hips, and Blood Orange. All were delicious but my favorite was the Forrest Berries and Rose Hips.High tea was enough food, we didn’t leave hungry. We bought truffles at the end, which were very good.Dietary restrictions: They were good about catering to any dietary restriction

This was such a treat. I love the uniqueness of the ambiance. The antique vibe really suites the space. I love that they offer hats to wear in case you really want to get into the spirit. The staff were wonderful. They had such a great attitude throughout our whole time there. Their variety of tea is outstanding. They have many options from English teas to Japanese teas. The sandwiches were as expected. I personally don't expect too much from the tea time sandwiches. The scone was delicious. Make sure you eat it warmed and finish it before it goes cold. The dressing the provide for the salad was top notch. Not sure if it's made it house, but I would def buy that dressing.
