So unexpectedly surprise by the delicious food and cafe environment! My friend had gone a few years back and enjoyed it so we decided to give it a try on a Saturday around lunch time. Upon arrival the cafe was busy but still had a few tables open both indoors and outdoors. I loved that it was a casual sit down place where you got to order and then take a seat, giving you the option to eat with friends or just have a bite/coffee as you read/study. We tried a few different items: -Trout Bowl: 5/5, this was my favorite. It came in a small bowl but it was incredibly filling with such a good texture to the trout and potatoes. -Dark Chocolate Cardamom Bun: 4/5, this was a seasonal special and recommended by the cashier. -Cardamom Bun: 4/5 -Sweet 3-grain Porridge: 5/5, was delicious and great as a brunch option! Would recommend trying if you're in the area!

Friendly service in a bright and warm environment. We sampled several items ($$$!) on our visit and were pleased with all of them. Their seasonal kale salad was delicious and a good size. Pastries are excellent also. Parking can be tough to find nearby.

wonderful breads and pastries. but service needs improvement. how about a simple greeting instead of a blank stare from the woman behind the counter when she approaches me at the counter to pick up my online order? i worked in food service for over 20 years in often fast-paced operations as this, where one orders at a counter and pays at the cashier. not easy waiting on hundreds of people every day. however, at a minimum, a smile and a greeting and later a thank you for my purchase should always be offered to every customer. if it was i may not hesitate to order again and might be able to give more than a weak recommendation to others like myself who live in the neighborhood.

Delicious pastries and food, and a lovely spot to sit especially on a sunny day. The cardamom morning bun is a must, and the porridge and salads taste so fresh and hardy. The hummus and trout salad dips are also very tasty if you want to fancy up your charcuterie board at home.

Honestly the smorgasbord was a top 10 meal in the city. The replacements are pretty awful in comparison. It’s just an expensive brunch spot now.

Wonderful experience and great food. Though, it gets a bit confusing because we weren’t sure if they call you up for the pastries or not. There’s just pastries being served and left on the to go counter.

I feel like the quality is high but it's really not for me. Fish spreads and soft boiled eggs.

Food is impeccable, pastries are amazing, breakfast egg sandwich is perfect, cardamom kaffe (latte) is excellent, Scandinavian flavors are great. Everyone's friendly, spacious, buzzing but not overly busy, big windows, the ideal bakery-cafe.
