Kantine is a nice, somewhat overpriced, brunch place. You order at the counter and then grab a table. The specialty dish for the restaurant is trout, but wasn't in season when we ordered at the time. My friend ordered the hot smoked trout bowl and it was so incredibly small, about the size of your hand for $18! It honestly looked like an appetizer and not an entree. Pastries are delicious - it always exceeds my expectations and utilizes very unique and special flavors in a city with tons of bakery options.
Staff is very kind and helpful. It can get crowded so be prepared for a wait.
Unfortunately the latte I had left little to be desired - the milk was steamed too hot and was overstretched; the espresso itself was bitter and didn’t have any discerning flavor.

Consistently delicious breakfast. I always enjoy the yogurt with seasonal fruit and their specialty touches. Coffee is ok; food and atmosphere are better than the coffee IMO. Friendly and welcoming staff.
