Kasa is an amazing option to consider for catering! They supported the Women’s Building Tax Clinic and had the order ready in a timely manner. The food was delicious and the volunteers really enjoyed it. The food stayed warm even hours after delivery. They are amazing neighbors and a spot worthy to try out if you are in the Castro!

My local go to restaurant when the great hunger is upon me. Thali plates always seem like too much food, but I always eat it all. Tasty and nice balance of different foods compliment each other on the thali. Best chai I have tasted outside of India.
Don't know what has happened at Kasa, but I was served a thali last week that was truly inedible! The only item worth eating was the rice. The chapati were blackened, the flavor of the Dahl was off, the paneer was tough as shoe leather, & the Chai had way to many spices, & I like spicy Chai, but this was more like sludge. The order was to go, so it was not practical for me to get my money back but I wanted to. What has happened here - it was so bad I am very hesitant to even give Kasa another chance. It's too bad - I have been loving their food for years.

We ordered the food for a party of 15 people. We chose the package for 20 people, and there was plenty of food with a lot of leftovers. More importantly, the food was delivered on time, and everyone liked it. It was delicious and healthy. Will choose it for catering again!

Tried this place while visiting sfo based on the reviews. None of the items we tried tasted like Indian food to us. The food tasted very bland and we barely were able to eat any of it. Additionally the staff was blasting mexican music which ruined the ambiance and feel of the place. There is nothing Indian about this place!

When I DoorDashed their rice and spice with samosa . The bogo deal is not good. The proportion of rice was too much and they dont give you much of the main dish and sauce. Both my samosas were missing in the order. Order was mid day on a thursday at 230pm.

Worst food I’ve had in the past few years who’s is why it deserves a review. Cute shop, nice to have an ordering kiosk. I dunno who did the recipes today but everyone was both bland and wrong. No flavor except maybe spicy. Mango lassi was premade out of a fridge, needed to be remixed. Half frozen on the bottom. Warmed it up with my palms and by that time the paper straw was wilted. Definitely wasn’t fresh. Naan and masala dip —got small piece of basically pita bread with a soupy orange sauce. Like the watered down actual sauce by 4:1.
Never again. Whatever standards this place once had they’re gone. Chef’s first day? Who knows. Hard pass tho.
