Key Klub is a bit tucked away, but absolutely worth the short walk or taxi—especially if you’re after a lively, good-vibes-only kind of night. It’s part of the same crew behind Bodega in North Beach (also great), but this spot leans a little rowdier—in the best way.
Expect a cool, chatty, very San Francisco crowd where everyone somehow looks like they’ve walked out of a magazine shoot.
Mostly wine and beer on offer, plus some top-notch nibbles. Staff are fun, prices are decent, and the whole place just hums with great energy. Strongly recommended for a buzzy evening out.

I live right next door to Key Club and will venture in every now and again. I can say, the service is always horrible and I am reminded why I scarcely go in. For example, went in last night with friends and was totally ignored by the bartenders, while they’re helping everyone else around. Disappointing but that’s why I choose to spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere. If you want fun bar choices in the area with great service, Tunnel Top and Summer Place are must tríes. They don’t have food, but their vibes and staff never disappoint.
This was a fun spot, nice drinks menu and tasty food options, the poutine was nice and so was the French toast
