Ordered takeout, got a bento box and a sushi roll. Portions were generous and fish was extremely fresh.

I don't write review that much some how I need to share my experience this restaurant. My 11 years old and I looking for sushi restaurant i japan town. We looked at this restaurant menu by the window . Some how owner came out restaurant and yelling to my son to set down outside table and he said this table is only customer! How rude and disrespectful to little kids . We are going to eat here and no big thank you to such an owner treating the future customers! As a mom some strangers yelling your kids this is something!!!

The caterpillar roll (sushi made of eel (unagi) and avocado) was outstanding. The chicken udon tasted like comfort food.

Passing though J-town and dropped in for some food. Food was good. Convenient location.
The staff was nice enough but the elder lady just seemed to rush us along too much. We didn't enjoy that.
The tea, also wasn't very hot. Thought that was weird.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of carbs. It's Japanese food

Parking: The area gets crowded so good luck with street parking. You can park in the J Town garage but it's not cheap.

Kid-friendliness: It's ok for kids

Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant

Was rushed to order, kicked us out after 30 minutes, trying to take our drinks away when they were still half full

The restaurant‘s service was awful. My family and I were visiting from Chicago and when we were quickly seated, the old lady that worked in front was very rude and insisted that we must order because they were closing from 2-4 P.M. I had looked around and they didn’t ask any other customers to do the same. The food was okay, but there are far better restaurants nearby.

Very good service; the staff were welcoming and attentive. The Katsu-don is soft and the broth and vegetables are well seasoned without being too soggy and salty.

The miso is also not salty.

The California roll is average, and the spider roll was ok.

First of all, the customer service was worst. A lady seem to be a manager or something does not have respect on customers. We haven’t done eating yet but forced her employee to clean our table. I asked the server to fill me more water but the lady showed such a face. Visited twice this store and always experience the same. Never gonna choose this again. !

I felt very unwelcome. I received my check just three minutes after getting my food, while I noticed that no one else was in the same situation. I wanted to order more food, but I couldn’t enjoy my meal while constantly looking at that check. And no one checked in on me during my entire visit.

I had the chicken teriyaki and gyoza lunch bento box. The chicken was very moist and tender, and the teriyaki sauce was light and tasty with just enough coating the chicken so as not to overpower the chicken. The gyoza was slightly crispy on the outside and very moist and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of ginger and garlic. I'm used to dipping gyoza in a mix of rice vinegar and soy sauce, but the sauce provided was a delicious spicy blend that had a nice bite. The green salad was a fresh blend of baby greens topped with a delicious creamy salad dressing. This bento box lunch turned out to be a very hearty and flavorful meal that I didn't realize I needed, it hit the spot. The service was terrific. I was visiting from out of town but will definitely be back.
