Been coming here since they opened!The owner use to be a waiter at a older Chinese restaurant my family use to go to when i was younger. Had to come here to get my childhood favorites! ?Perfect for family dinners and the food is on point every time!

I'm hoping it was an off night. I have been coming here for years but tonight everything was a little bit off. Instead of favorable, everything was too salty. The Peking Duck did not have crispy skin and the meat dishes were very salty. I will try again as from experience that night was an off night.

In my opinion, Kirin is a Local Richmond District TREASURE! Really good spot if you are craving a rice plate or some won ton soup! Henry, Sam, and the Kirin staff do a great job.Kirin always hits the spot, and I am grateful to have had this restaurant around growing up here in San Francisco.
