I had the crispy chicken bowl. It was perfectly cooked and presented. Wonderful sauce and condiments.

Got a chicken koja, beef koja, crispy rolls, and soup. Both koja were served with meat neither hot nor cold but rather smack dab in the middle of the food safety danger zone. Having recently suffered severe food poisoning I was not willing to risk eating it before reheating. The crispy rolls and soup were both hot and good.
We ordered two kamikaze fries, both orders were completely cold and fries were hard.

Super friendly owner and delicious food. Especially the Koja, which is unlike anything else we’ve tried before

Admittedly, the last time I went to Koja was in Sparks, about 6 years ago. Hard for a small, counter space only place to compete with that. But it wasn't the same. The rice bun stuck to the wrapper (never had that happen before) and the sauce was almost missing. I love the concept, but it's just not as good anymore.

The short rib koja, a unique sandwich made from crispy rice as the buns, was one of the best things I've eaten in some time. Many an expletive of excitement was uttered while munching. The meat was moist, tender and flavorful, topped with an excellent slaw. It's easy to taste the quality of ingredients used and expertise of preparation. I'm not being hyperbolic; this is my new favorite food item in all of SF, and it's naturally gluten free which unfortunately I need, so I'm double pysched.
Beyond that, service was warm and friendly. I was promptly greeted, and asked to be helped. Though I declined, able to use the self service kiosk, and elderly gentleman behind me was guided through his order as I waited, which I appreciated.

Came here for some Bahn mi at Little Vietnam Cafe. I didn't realize it's also koja kitchen.
The Bahn mi were good. Had 2 sandwiches, chicken and ham combo. Got the jalapeño on the side, however the jalapeño was literally just next to the sandwich. They were touching and made part of the sandwich too spicy for the family.
The sandwich was decent sized with the French bread thicker on the ends. The cucumber, carrots and cilantro were good with enough flavor to complement the meat.
The ham combo had good flavor and taste. The chicken was a plentiful but needed a bit more seasoning/flavor.
Overall decent sandwich and the price was under $10 per sandwich. I would get it again if I were in the area. I wouldn't make a trip just to get it though.
Primarily a to go place in my opinion with some seats set up by the window for Cafe style window counter dining.
